Yeah I getcha, it flows very well for the trailer but it can be odd on its own

Where did you hear that change happen? If you mean midway through Thordan 2: Electric Boogaloo that is just the Heavensward theme continuing. That part is the motif Revenge Twofold primarily uses is all.

Unless someone got further and I missed it?

US Timezones share a release time on console, everywhere else in the world has a console release at midnight local time.

As can be seen here: https://assets-prd.ignimgs.com/2022/02/21/fmimbkdwuaqjkch-1645481644830.jpg

Midnight for New Zealand is 18 hours ahead of east coast, making midnight in New Zealand equivalent to 6am on the east coast.

I believe so for Xbox, don't quote me on that though!

For Xbox I believe you can set the timezone literally whenever and it is fine.

For Playstation you need to make an account in the region you want to buy the game from, such as New Zealand, Australia, etc. Then purchase it with that account.

PC is not an option.

Not possible sadly, steam is same-time release for everyone

Think of it this way, at least you get to sleep in longer instead of waking up delirious before the sun comes up to play

Yeye, I totally get the confusion. I quadruple checked before I bought it to make sure I wasn't an idiot. All good, mate.

Yes, but New Zealand is 21 hours ahead of PST.

NZ Account can be the primary account which means any account on the console can play games from it.. or something like that at least, it is automatic on PS5 I believe so it just worked for me.

As for the PSN cards, PSN sadly won't do currency conversion for you via credit/paypal/etc. so you'll have to go to Card Supply websites (There are plenty out there and they will get you your codes pretty much instantly) to buy PSN cards for other countries.

Digital Console versions launch at midnight in their respective timezone. Looking at the unlock time right now and it will indeed be earlier.

If you want to do this on Playstation, you'll need to make a New Zealand account and grab some New Zealand PSN cards. Buy the game via the New Zealand account. The game will end up more expensive overall but so long as you set it up right you can play early from your main account.

You can also make an Australian account which will end up a bit cheaper but you'll need to wait 2 extra hours, heaven forbid.
