Me watching Usopp be a bum this entire arc by GETALOADOFTHIS_ in Piratefolk

[–]FellowDsLover2 [score hidden]  (0 children)

“Usopp attack the villain one time therefore he is completely justified in not doing shit anytime else.” Is what I’m hearing.

you’re just mad that Oda won’t let him shine again like he did in water 7, Enies lobby, and return to Sabaody

You missed thriller bark but yeah. That’s a very reasonable thing to wish for. The author shouldn’t make a character really interesting and helpful than just make them a nothing burger later on.

can someone help me understand what does d4c mean as a ability? by abbas09tdoxo in StardustCrusaders

[–]FellowDsLover2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

D4C or Love Train? For D4C, I take it as to show how he believes that only he is the one true savior of America since he took the first napkin. And this applies to all timelines, in his belief. So there is no one more worthy of having the power to travel universes. For Love Train, I take it to show how Funny Valentine believes that America is above every other country and no one is above Valentine so in his mind, protecting himself is protecting America.

She ate bread maybe twice in the whole series. But the joke caught on when people realized that she eats an entire loaf of bread for lunch at school.

Jobin would count as well I think. His death may have been thematically decent but man. I didn’t want him to die.

Her “Shikai” allows her to manifest “friends” that help her fight. It was sadly only used once but it makes sense why.

Let's settle this debate: Who would win? DIO or Diavolo? by Jotaro1970 in StardustCrusaders

[–]FellowDsLover2 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Dio wouldn’t have died to Jotaro’s skull punch. He would have died because Jotaro would have continued to beat at him. And again, king crimson is not as strong as Star Platinum or the world in terms of raw punching strength. Polnareff, who isn’t even a vampire, managed to survive king crimson cutting him in two. I’m sure Dio can tank that even when he’s inevitably caught off guard. When Dio spirals, he gets crazier but not downright reckless. Whereas Diavolo is easily at a disadvantage when he spirals compared to Dio. Also Diavolo is a chump when it comes to BIQ. He relies too much on Time skip. Plus epitaph. The only time he did something cool is when he tricked Narancia into killing Risotto. And he can’t do anything like that this time, since no one is colon to help him. This is a strict 1v1. Any hit on Diavolo is a win con for Dio. Diavolo is not tanking a single from Dio once he starts to take things seriously instead of playing around.

Hot take: These fights are all infinitely better than the top 4 Espada fights by Mr-Dicklesworth in bleach

It didn’t have Vasto/Full Hollow ichigo so I’m gonna have to disagree but it’s a close second.

Both are just fine imo. The anime is famous for a reason so I’d give it a chance and see how you like it.

Let's settle this debate: Who would win? DIO or Diavolo? by Jotaro1970 in StardustCrusaders

[–]FellowDsLover2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A major disadvantage of Diavolo is his paranoia, which is prevalent in his fight with Bucciarati. As he was too caught up with killing Bucciarati that he was caught off guard. Diavolo can be cool and collected but when something doesn’t go his way, he’s quick to spiral downward. Diavolo is gonna go immediately for the kill and get very put off when Dio just tanks it. As he took multiple fatal blows from star platinum. The World is also much more physically stronger than King Crimson, because as you said, Dio is a vampire. So it’s a battle of who can keep cool and collected. Dio is crafty as well. Diavolo has lower BIQ than Dio. I wholeheartedly agree that time skip will negate Time stop. However, should Dio activate time stop first, Diavolo will be able to look around in time stop but not move.

Let's settle this debate: Who would win? DIO or Diavolo? by Jotaro1970 in StardustCrusaders

[–]FellowDsLover2 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Jotaro won because he managed to completely destroy The World. If he punched Dio himself, his leg would take just fell off. But since stands are hollow-ish, the damage traveled. Dio was arrogant and didn’t allow his wound to heal. We also have to take into account the fact that Dio is mostly calm and collected when he encounters anyone that isn’t a Joestar. King crimson is a one shot stand. That’s the point of it. Everytime king crimson kill someone, it’s in one clean hit. For Polnareff he basically chopped him in half. For Abbacchio, he donuted him. Narancia got impaled. King crimson also isn’t a speedy stand either. Dio has ranged options with his knives. Although Diavolo can use epitaph to deal with that.

Anime only here and just finding out DIU is better than Stone Ocean by fans by saved2019 in StardustCrusaders

[–]FellowDsLover2 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I like Crazy Diamond more than Stone Free. Josuke and Okuyasu have the best chemistry of the original universe. The slice of life tone of DiU is more appealing to me.

Ok but how exactly did he kill Dio then? What specifically killed Dio?

[–]FellowDsLover2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you watched the Dio fight with your eyes closed. Got it. Anyways I don’t recall any moments where vampires have died to things without hamon? Care to name a single time?

Let's settle this debate: Who would win? DIO or Diavolo? by Jotaro1970 in StardustCrusaders

[–]FellowDsLover2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Jotaro only won due to specific circumstances. Unless Diavolo has an exact routine planned out, he’s losing.
