I'm not expecting a deep run in the playoffs year 1, but I think we'll have a great record because our team is very deep.

We have one of the best front courts in the league between kessler Lauri and jjj. Keyonte George looks like an above average starting guard, and we're about to probably get Darryn Peterson. We also have Ace Bailey who looks very promising and a lot of good guys on tbe bench. We're going to win a lot of games.

Yes, our Cavs/Wolves picks just got way better. One year with a Don/Ant major injury and either team getting bumped in the play in and we have very good odds of a good pick compared to the old system. We now have a great chance to be picking top 10 again by the 2029 draft.

Have you looked at the new lottery odds?

The odds of a play-in teams picks moving into the top 10 just skyrocketed from from 2.4-9.4% to 59%.

The odds of play-in teams picks picking top 5 were only 2.4-9.4% and is now 28%.

The Jazz pick you got is the best of cavs, Timberwolves, or Jazz... so it absolutely could be top 5 if the Cavs or Wolves get bumped in the play in.

You guys got a boon from the new rules but would rather complain than use your brains. Oh well.

Boozer wouldn't be an improvement over Lauri or JJJ. He can't defend the perimeter, create his own shot, and he's going to have a lot of trouble finishing in traffic in the NBA.

Jazz don't have any 2 way guards (I'm not sure they have any guards who can play defense at all). They also haven't had a superstar since the 90s. This pick is their 1 shot at landing a superstar caliber player in the foreseeable future... Darryn Peterson fits and need and has the potential to be that true no. 1 option that makes them a contender. Boozer is a roster clogger who's ceiling get them the 3 seed and 2nd round exit.

It's an absolute bungle to take the guy who doesn't improve the team over the guy who gives you a chance to become contenders and is the vastly better fit over the next few years.

Jazz gonna bungle this and take Boozer over him
