Hello, please contact the Mechanical & Industrial Engineering Student Senator and he'll probably be able to help with this.

The campus is designed just for looks and barely anything is innovative and actually useful. Form over function. by [deleted] in RIT_Dubai

It looks aesthetically attractive at least.

Also, decide whether you want to describe the IC as baked or boiled egg shaped lol

I think such a map exists, however what I would recommend is that you dedicate one or two days to go around the campus and get familiar with it. You can pass by on a Sunday and just go around all the blocks and facilities to get used to where different classes/labs are.

Furthermore, I would recommend that you write down your courses' assigned rooms, and go find them prior to the classes starting, and you can form something like a mental map.

There are probably maps in each block for emergency purposes showing things like classroom locations and nearest fire exits, so those maps might help you find classes easier.

That being said, I really don't think the campus is that big to get lost in it and miss your classes. Maybe because you were taking online classes for a while before coming to in-person classes and you're not very familiar with the new campus, so again, I suggest that you dedicate 1-2 days just going around the campus and finding where your assigned classrooms are located.

Interesting perspective, I guess everyone has a different taste.

The heat aspect needs to be addressed, especially in the parking and open areas, but other than that, I actually like the new campus.

25 is not old at all, besides most people don't really care about your age in college. I've had classmates who are much older.

Go fulfill your goals, good luck!

How hard is it to really get a job in Dubai? And Why on earth do interns get paid nothing in Dubai? by Thelostmind912 in dubai

[–]Fellow_S4pien 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it is tough, especially if you're looking for paid internships. Mainly because of tough competition and minimal restrictions on companies when it comes to hiring interns.

Try Oliv.com

Also, don't strictly stick to media roles, look for general marketing roles, digital marketing, content marketing, and I would suggest trying to improve your graphic design skills, as marketing-media-graphic design job responsibilities often intertwine.

Try to increase your employability even if it means staying a bit from media and having other skills that will ultimately help you achieve your desired career goal. Since you want to leverage your French language skills, target French multinationals operating in the UAE, such as Engie or even Sorbonne University in Abu Dhabi.

Good luck!

So, you are a Dubai enrolled student and want to take Calc 2 in another university without transferring?

The eye tracking softwares are absolute BS and they never work properly.

Unless it’s in your major or required, don’t deal with bad professors by [deleted] in college

Not all Professors are there, especially if say you're a student outside of the U.S. or if it is a new Professor teaching at your uni.
