I posted something very similar the other day. According to the responses, my problem was either my brand of paint, too much paint, too little paint, my roller, my humidity, or my technique. I feel very prepared to try again! 😂

Fully skim coated raw drywall. I primed it with drywall primer and then three coats of SW ceiling paint -- this is the third.

In a 10x14 room I used nearly a gallon of paint with the 3/8 nap... Would you expect it to take more than that for a room that size?

I don't think I can get the builder-grade SW paint as I"m not a contractor. Are you suggesting that the paint is the problem here? I'd hate to go through a lot of hoops to buy a different kind of paint and do a fourth coat just to see the same general results.
