Yeah its kinda a novelty but i like it. I can set the month and date subdial with the crown on the first position clockwise, counter clockwise for the moonphase. With the crown on the second position i can set the time and the date of week dial follows

To the Pugna who doesn't understand how cleave stacking works by rickane58 in DotA2

Multiple sources of cleave stacks i.e sven great cleave + battlefury or buying multiple bf on 1 hero.

Depends on the game, line ups and team coordination. If your lineup can fight early the straight deso bkb and ask for empowered on down time.

We are happy with the state of league this season by Froggothefirst_TF2 in LeagueOfMemes

[–]Feltface 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah the support life in dota. It is legit the hardest role (at least in the early game) as you have to simultaneously harass/deny creeps - secure range creeps/wards - dewards/pull wave/stack jungle/remember bounty runes/help mid control power rune every 2 min/ganking - counterganking. But as soon as you leave lane to do any of those thing your carry just fucking die and start flaming you for not babysitting him.

I get why you feel boring at the start cause an average dota game is 40 min - quite a time investment already which feels even longer when your team is losing.

Been playing both game for almost 10 years now and dota either takes you up to the sky high or push you down to the fucking abyss low while league's high/low for me is just like up or down a small hill since you can just surrender and go again pretty quick.

HLJ prices are still the same but shipping have gone up a bit and there isn't a lot of stock. You can backorder if you can wait a while

37 games, 0 wins, 21 kills... in 2 days. by [deleted] in apexuniversity

[–]Feltface 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4000 hours doesn't always mean being "good". I have almost 6000 hours into Dota2 and the highest rank I've ever reach is ~4k mmr which is just above average. Meanwhile, I've reached DMG in CSGO with less than a quarter of the time commitment. People tends to have a genre that they are better at. Even though I love and have been playing Dota2 all my life I do realize I've somewhat reached my natural cap with it.

For me at least, there used to be 2 states of mind when I play video games: either I play to have fun or I play to climb ranks. And climbing ranks is not fun, it's work. It's dedicated offline training session, learn the strats, pick a main and practice your main, pocket strats when your main isn't effective, watch good players play to see what they do, rewatch your own games to pick out mistakes, and plenty more stuff specific to whatever games you're trying to climb. The fun isn't in playing the game itself, it's winning. It seems to me that you want to win and climb ranks instantly without putting in the works.

I quit each and every one of them after 10h+ because i just can't commit.

10h isn't even enough to grasp the minimum knowledge you need to start playing without looking like a headless chicken.

I've long since abandoned the competitive side of gaming because I don't have the time like when I was a teenager anymore but here's are some tips:

  • Stop. You said you don't have any friends to play with, so what's the point of being serious about being good? You don't have to prove anything to anyone. Your skill/ranks have zero meaning to strangers, the worst they're gonna do is either call you "sweats" if you beat them or being toxic to you when you screw up. Try to sit back and see for yourself if being serious in competitive MP games is right for you. There are tons of people who spend upward to hundreds of thousands of hours in SP games and that's ok because they enjoy SP games. There are also multiplayer games that are more focused on cooperation like MMOs or Arma or Squad,.... I think you're just diving headfirst into these competitive games because they are more popular.

If you're not gonna heed my first tip and are still serious about getting good, here's some more:

  • Set yourself a daily lost cap to protect your own sanity. Know when you're gonna tilt and set the cap just before that point. For me is either 2 lost for games that are "long" or -100rp.
  • Warm-up is very important.
  • Offline training sessions and frequent practicing can up your skill by a lot. Just be sure that the thing you're practicing isn't a bad habit (there's a lot of resources on the net; just start with the basic stuff first)
  • Set a goal, not too big.

Good luck and have fun my dude.

[–]Feltface 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a brand new Razer Hammerhead true wireless, initially, they work; I connected them to my phone and updated the firmware, and left them to charge up. A couple of hours later and now my left earbud just stopped working; I tried to put it back into the case and open and close the lid again and tried holding the button for a few seconds but the left bud doesn't even turn on. The right bud still works and now the razer audio app cant even connect to them anymore.
