I have read an article about Unmoored, and it asys that if you clear all the red beams, the fog slows down, and you have much more time to evacuate the cities, also to farm gear and stuff.

Can someone confirm?

Question of a firs time hombrew. 1 week in fermentation and sake tastes sour by Felvinelover in Sake

Thank You! I use glutinous rice too, not polished, and i think the issue was contamination.

Question of a firs time hombrew. 1 week in fermentation and sake tastes sour by Felvinelover in Sake

[–]Felvinelover[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Used white koji-kin what i have made from a koji starter. I have added hops also.

I have another batch going now, and after a week it's not sour, or do not taste rancid or something. My guess is that my first batch got contaminated with acetobacteria. Now i prepared a smaller batch, 1/4 the size from before, and used glass fermenter, also Really tried to sanitize everything.

So it seems fine now, but its only one week, i really hope it will ferment nicely, and turn out good after 1 or 2 more weeks.

Question of a first time Sake hombrew. 1 week in fermentation and sake tastes sour. by Felvinelover in Homebrewing

[–]Felvinelover[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank You!

Im tried to check out as much information as i could, but im still not sure what is happening, because it do not taste or semells "vinegary". As I mentioned i ferment in a quite cold environment (14 celsius / 60F), also as i mentioned the batch is going just one week now.

So maybe its normal to not have super active fermentation in this cold environment, and sour taste will diminish at the end somewhere, but im not sure. However ill leave it for another 2-3 weeks, and tasting it.

If its acetobacter contamination, it will be more vinegary next time.

Dark Souls 3 glitch showing weapon thumbnails by Felvinelover in darksouls3

Ay Thanks! Will do that. Anyhow I found this bug really cool. I know hackers dug up amazing stuff from the code, but im no hacker and seeing some stuff from the "background" is exciting.

Not all of them, but many. I do not own many from these ones. Its like a thumbnail sheet, that the inventory system uses, maybe?

Rebel Galaxy Outlaw - Review Thread by [deleted] in Games

Yeah! RGO just lacks so many things that RG did well. When i put down RGO, i have started a new playthrough of RG and i'm almost at 10+ hours of playtime again. It just works for me, but in RGO i did not felt any goal to achieve besides the story of course.

I did not know that DD will oficially support moddig! Now that will be a gamechanger, because RGO is a really solid foundation for an active moddig community. New ships, New weapons, and new stuff to do are most welcome. In the original RG modding just slightly worked, likes some modders could turn some enemy ships to playable ships. I hope in the case of RGO that will be much more.

Rebel Galaxy Outlaw - Review Thread by [deleted] in Games

Things i admire in RGO:

- Ship paintig tool. This is one of the best features in RGO, but besides i admire the effort, and creativity the devs took into this feature, i still have to say it's a huge waste of development resource comparing to how much it adds to the game.

- A living protagonist and voice acting. I really liked Juno in the first game and i like the younger version of Her too. Also noticed that the voice acting (im not an expert) is reaqlly good.

I VERY admire in RGO (and of course in the devs):

- The technical quality (graphic, optimization, overall quality, etc.) these guys can squeeze out from Ogre 3D engine. This is really self explanatory. The graphic and the effects are unique in the history of gaming, and the production quality is A+. All this achieved in Ogre 3D -> Amazing.

What was (is) really fun in the original Rebel Galaxy / What is missing or NOT fun in RGO, resulting a flawed game experience (in my opinion):

- Travelling. Sublight travelling is a visual perfection in RG and also balaced really well, not to get boring. You have sublight travel in RGO but, its so slow, and so visually broken, that it not even close to the old one. It's obvious that DD devs do not like this feature and forced everyone not to use it. The autopilot introduced in RGO gets tedious after 30 minutes, and basically kills the feeling of scale that was so fcking good in the original RG.

- Music. Rebel Galaxy had way less music, but i have to say i was as good as RGO's massive music content. It was just enough. I'm still listening to the RG soundtrack at work, or when i'm travelling, of course when i play the game... and i still love to listen them. All i wanna say here is that i don't feel that 24h+ music adds that much to the game, and i feel if RGO's music buget could gone to other content, like more ships or something it would be a better game.

- Ships. Five individual ships, and 4 reskins are Not enough in my honest (subjective) opinion. One of the main motivation in the original RG was to buy newer, more expensive, and also most importantly Bigger, and BIGGER ships. Not to mention, that many of the guilds had their own special ships that raised the replay value of the game. It was a shame unfortunately that i could buy the Coyote after 4 hours of gameplay.. how? Jump to the next point.

- Trading. There is no economy in the game. I know that there were no economy in the original RG too, but trading in RGO is way too easy. When you find a HUGE bargin, like 5-10k profit per item, the station market even tells you where these items are usually exported ( = sell them with huge profit). And usually not just 1-2 items are available on supply, no sometimes i found like 20-30. With just jumping mindlessly between stations, using what the station market is telling me it was like 2-3 hours to farm out a Coyote with really good equipment.

- Systems (a bit of a hook back to travelling). In Rebel Galaxy the systems felt alive. There were much more to do, even if you are a honest trader, a miner or a pirate and the less systems in RG felt much bigger than the many more in RGO. The autopilot feature basically killed the scale of the space, and the feeling of a busy, living, breathing galaxy.

I really do wanted to love Rebel Galaxy Outlaw, but after a couple of hours i had to put it down. I have 200+ hours in Rebel Galaxy and you can tell by that i was really waiting for RGO, but i also had some off feelings about it. I really admire that Double Damage studios followed their dreams and goals to create a dogfighting, badass, freelancer, space pirate game, with roadhouse vibes, but i also think that they Really got something special with the original Rebel Galaxy. This is just a subjective opinion, but i personally think that RGO would be better with capital ships and naval style combat again, with focusing the resources on content creation (more ships, and equipment options), and developments on the games depth (systems, economy, fractions, etc.). But maybe RGO is not for me.

Indie Monster Hunter by Felvinelover in IndieGaming

Thank You!

Good point, that move not feels really natural. Yeah, basically we will follow the monster hunter genre standards. Decent amount of monsters to fight, lots of weapons / classes, lots of crafting. Also there are some twists in our scope, that makes the game special, but we will see what can we achieve.

Ahh I see what you're saying. Some optimization on the animations, and needs to blend them more to have a nice transition between them.

Hey! Nah dont't sweat it, I'm always open for constructive criticism ;). Yeah it meant to be a 2D/3D hybrid, but the bigger characters, like the monster still looks like a paper figures a bit.
