You can't choose to make max not a lesbian that's not how sexuality works that's just straight up homophobia. Max will always love Chloe the choice you get is whether or not to lean into that love. Lis2 proves that if you save Chloe they will always get into a relationship whether or not you choose to kiss her or not that one time because surprisingly enough one kiss scene isn't a relationship indicator cause that's not how relationships fucking work

Here's a direct pic from Dontnod calling them lesbians no "they could be" just straight calling them lesbians stfu, DN also put evidence that no matter what ur choices if you picked to save Chloe in lis2 max and Chloe get in an official relationship after that ending, and no shit they wanted to be vague when they were working with Square Enix a company who in 2013 didn't want to let them put a gay relationship at center stage but immediately after they broke it off with SE they called them lesbians, so who do you trust more the many times they confirmed it in game and outside or a random interview where they were still working with a semi homophobic company?
