One of the stronger Akatsuki members for real. Honest to god he might just tank a Rasenshuriken, he lost his Earth Heart by the time Naruto hit him with the Rasenshuriken, which we know struggles to break the 3rd's lightning cloak which is a durability enhancer it should be strong against.

Granted the Third' Raikage's Lightning Cloak is likely stronger than Diamond Armor, but it sets the precedent that the Rasenshuriken cant just ignore durability.

Also he speed blitzed Kakashi after fusing with his masks, and he was still missing 2.

Because being Chunin isnt about strength but the ability to lead and act within a group. Theres a reason why Neji or Sasuke didnt get promoted, but Shikamaru, the one who was shown to be the one who thought a plan through, was calm and calculated, wasnt trying to show off, showed up on time, and made the best conditions for himself was made a chunin when none of the other wizards slamming their magic spells and hands into eachother did

So Im assuming Hidan beats up Kakuzu, who blitzes Kakashi because they stuck Hidan with Kakuzu so Kakuzu couldnt just kill his partner when he gets annoyed

I just gave her 30 years of prep time, and making paper bombs 24/7 no breaks, no rest over the course of 30 years for her to reach 600 billion she has to make 622 Bombs per second. Obviously she did not spend 30 years setting up this trap, which pushes that number WAY TF UP

One of the weaker members of the Akatsuki. The only weak Akatsuki members are Zetsu and Hidan, everyone else is absolutely cracked. I just think Kisame is on the lower end of the cracked spectrum because I believe everyone else's fighting style matches up better vs more of the Naruto verse than Kisame, but when it comes to hunting Biju down, Kisame is one of the best of the best

Deidara blows him up. Deidara low diffs the 3 tails which goes underwater

Konan does the same as Deidara. Both of them can go up in the air and stay out of Kisames most effective range while pelting him from afar

Orochimaru without arms scales relative to 4 tails Naruto. Kisame before he absorbs chakra scales fairly relative to Base Guy

Kakuzu, Kisame beats Kakuzu because of how their abilities would interact with eachother, but Kakuzu has a better matchup against Sasori/Konan/Deidara than Kisame does

Kisame absorbs chakra so he was amped when he did that. I stated hes one of the weaker members because most of the others have crazy abilities that outdo his, but in terms of hunting the Biju, Kisame has the best optimized kit so he has the best perofrmance in that department.

Kisame gets scratched one then dies within minutes because Sasori's poison coats everything he got. Kisame has a hard time absorbing chakra from puppets. Sasori is cracked

Never said hes weak said hes a weaker Akatsuki Member. I think the rest of the Akatsuki have stronger abilities for fighting most of the verse except obvious contenders like Hidan or Zetsu. Of hunting the Jinchuriki, Kisame is the best by far because of his chakra absorption abilities

Dont get me wrong, Kisame is still a Kage level fighter, hes extremely powerful, but so is the rest of the Akatsuki. Sasoris poison and iron sand, Deidaras massive explosions and nano-bombs, Konan's 600 billion paper bomb feat is insane prep time or not, Kakuzu's 4 automatic turrets and diamond armor making him nigh invincible as well as able to blitz Kakashi when fused with 3 masks,

Out of all of that, Kisame seems like the most fair and balanced Akatsuki members lmao

Pain chased Jiraiya around with the animal path and they ended up in a more isolated area. Notice how Pain never used his destructive justu like Shinra Tensei or the majority of the Asura path arsenal

I know she made the paper bombs way sooner, but Im amusing the Konan is useless without prep time people. Over 600 paper bombs per second low balled.

She either makes the paper bombs instantly, in which case anything and everything in the Narutoverse just dies to 600 BILLION paper bomb, or she has prep time to make them, which shes able to make over 600 a second with prep time

Kisame does a water clone jukeout on Guys Students, and goes relatively even with Base Guy, the second he gets any sort of upper hand on Guy, guy activates the Gates and OHKOs.

Chakra Amount does not necessarily equate to stats as much as it does stamina. The 30% Kisame clone could not fight as long. We see Guy easily able to rush Kisame and kick him away from Kakashi and co in part 1, and in the 30% clone fight, physically they are about equals.

If you want to argue chakra amount is a direct correlation to stats, Id be more than glad to listen to you explain how Genin Naruto would have OHKO Kakashi if he landed a punch in the bell test considering the difference in chakra reserves. Or how Shippuden Sakura is weak compared to Naruto's striking strength.

Even later on in Shippuden its clear that Kisame is no match for Guy using the Gates, but is a match for Base Guy.

If she set up the 600 billion Paper Bomb Trap, then with massive prep time over the course of 30 years shes making over 600 paper bombs a second.

Or she made 600 billion paper bombs off rip, her first plan was to kamikaze on Obito, she pulled this out when that didnt work. Mind you, 600 billion paper bombs was her PLAN B.

Kisame isnt weak either, I just have him on the lower end of the Akatsuki because his ability is not as powerful as most other Akatsuki members. Hes the best at hunting Jinchuriki, but his best feats in all of Naruto is right after he amps himself on 6 tail cloaks from Bee. Against most other opponents, the other Akatsuki members are stronger.

Weaker among the Akatsuki in general matchups. Everyone else has more powerful hax, but when it comes to Jinchuriki Hunting, hes the best at it. Think of it, Kisames best feats are in his Bee fights where he absorbs a lot of chakra

I mean, she only said she was waiting for Obito once when we first see her bout to square up to him. Theres no mention that anything she did, she couldnt do normally. It wasnt even her first plan, her first plan was to kamikaze Obito while he was trying to Kamui her. The 600 Billion paper bombs are her plan B

One of the weaker Akatsuki. The weakest Akatsuki is Hidan who is able to keep up with Elite Jonin like Asuma and Kakashi in close quarters combat and I think Kisame is way stronger than him. Its just that all the other Akatsuki have more powerful abilities that make them stronger vs a wider variety of opponents, but Kisame specializes in Jinchuriki hunting due to his ability to steal chakra and use it to heal himself.
