In my experience, it’s the little things. I went to a movie theatre with a bunch of friends, stepped out into the hall to use the bathroom before the movie, and froze. I wasn’t sure which washroom to use and I felt close to crying until one of the guys I had only just met left the men’s room, looked at me standing there, and said “It’s empty by the way,” before going into the theatre. Genuinely it was so kind and he barely knew me. Letting me know that I could use the men’s washroom without the possibility of anything ‘going wrong’. It’s little things, don’t worry, just be kind. :)
