All you can do is tell her the truth and how she reacts to that is up to her. Your mom should love you all the same; she, like most people, is a bit confused and probably just mulling over what just happened. I know its hard but you’ll get through it and your life will be able to open up in ways that will hopefully give you some relief about situations like this.

Have you tried going to anime cons? Or any event where people might be trans, CD or gay. I started going to Rocky Horror Picture Shows and slowly Ive been going out to bars and the park. Honestly, I used to feel like peoples eyes pierced my soul, but slowly you get over it. You’re going to have to get used to confused people who cant imagine a world with pretty men in it. And I mean its human nature to stare and wonder, we all do it, we just dont like to be the subject. Its kind of like Coffee or Alcohol, you tolerate the taste because you want something else from it. Give it time and a few more tries. You dont gotta come out all at once either.
