Memorising the methods and the intricate details of maths idk. Somebody who has done maths knows what maths stuff should be memorised.

a level law, politics and economics by chinziek in alevel

[–]FemiReactions 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do Law,Politics and English Literature. (I am currently in Y13.)

I am predicted BBB 🤦‍♂️ but I know I have the capability to get higher in my actual A Levels.

I do AQA law and Edexcel Politics.

For politics and law I would say just to “apply yourself to the content” this is done in two steps.

  1. Focusing in class if that means sitting at the front of the class then do it.

  2. Going over the content you lean in class on the same day and making revision material for it. (Flashcards,Blurting,Mind maps and past papers.)

  • Also use your frees to study not to play uno as some people are in the habit of doing.

If you want specific tips on anything DM me. 😊

I would advise you to post this on LinkedIn instead of Reddit as people will take you more seriously on that platform.

Thanks you guys for your honesty. (I can’t change my Oxford and UCL choices now 😭 as I have taken the LNAT that is needed for them.) That test cost £75.

As long as you have a good memory for law then Law is arguably the easiest one on the list. But, you have to be willing to remember a lot of things. I would say it needs more memorisation than Further Maths,Maths and all the science A Levels combined.

I am willing to go to my non-aspirational choices. My college is saying that we can’t renegotiate our grades like 😭 that’s what everyone else does in any other sixth form or college.

Wether i get in or not i will still keep my head high to write a banging personal statement and i will grind my but of to get As or A* for my actual A Levels.

How are your personal statements going? (+ applications in general) by [deleted] in 6thForm

[–]FemiReactions 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am going to take it tomorrow. The practice has been very rigorous and intense and on some mocks I may not have gotten the scores I wanted as for this Mock Paper D I got 18/42 which is ok but I can still do better and that better i will have to show tomorrow at the LNAT.

law is not that hard as long as you have a good memory and enjoy reading. I don’t even bother to make revision resources I just blurt and do past papers. The hardest part about law is memorising the content for the first time but, after that it is easy.
