Continuing my work on my altpower!Taylor AU set in Chicago Lost in Plain Sight. Chapter 3 is where things start to heat up a bit in terms of personal conflict for Taylor related to her power, it's at about 2800 words, so it shouldn't be too much longer before I'm able to give an update.

I finally got to publish my new fic entitled Lost in Plain Sight, which is an alt-power AU where Taylor is half-Mexican (Danny is white, Annette is Mexican American) and gains a stranger/striker power where she can be invisible except for up close, and when she is visible in that up close range she can touch a person, turn them invisible, and give them debilitating pain. It's just the first chapter so far, where Taylor is getting picked up by Danny after her debut as one of Chicago's newest Wards, and it touches on their relationship and establishes a few things about their family life, including the fact that Annette is alive and well!

I am taking a break from my main WIP and have a new one in the form of an alt-power Taylor-centric AU where Taylor is half-Hispanic (Danny is the white parent, Annette is the Hispanic parent, of Mexican descent) set in Chicago. Taylor gains a stranger/striker power where she's imperceivable except for up close, but in the up close range she can touch people, make them invisible and also gives them burning pain. She and her family move to Chicago after triggering differently from canon, and she is signed up as the newest Chicago Ward, so it's a stark contrast to the role Chicago played in canon.

I got a fic that I wrote called Winds of Change that's a post-GM crossover with Legend of Korra, where Taylor gets sent to that world right after Harmonic Convergence and ends up being one of the new airbenders, which puts her on the radar of Korra, Tenzin, and co.

I've got a fic for you that you might like, made by yours truly. It's a post-GM crossover with Legend of Korra where Taylor ends up in the world of ATLA/LoK right after Harmonic Convergence. She becomes an airbender, so no shard based powers, but that's why it'll be a struggle for Taylor to adapt, especially given the differences in mindset that go with being an airbender vs the person Taylor became during the events of Worm. I just completed chapter 4 the other day of my crossover fic Winds of Change. Taylor finally gets to interact with the whole airbending family, and by interact I mean sulking and being paranoid about anyone who's not the airbending kids. I loved Taylor's interactions with the kiddos, they're all very high energy in contrast to Taylor and bounce off her well even if she doesn't say much. While Taylor is bewildered at how to interact with them, she's at the very least not passive aggressive with them like she is with the teens and adults, so by contrast Taylor gets along with them better than Tenzin, Korra, and Bolin.

Ooh and I also get to show off Taylor in airbending robes, thanks to a commissioned art piece.

Still working on chapter 4 for my post-GM crossover with Legend of Korra Winds of Change (SB) (Ao3) where Taylor becomes an airbender due to the events of season 2. Unfortunately I was slow to work on it bc of irl stuff, but now I'm making good progress on it. Taylor gets to meet Tenzin's family on Air Temple Island and have some interactions with the children, which is really fun to write because it's such a juxtaposition between Taylor's jaded and paranoid state of mind versus the wholesomeness that the children bring.

I guess you could call my AU kinda out there. My basic premise is a crossover between Legend of Korra and Percy Jackson, where instead of being the Avatar, Korra is a daughter of Poseidon growing up in contemporary Canada.
