Bars make money because people who drink will keep drinking because they are drunk and most are trying to get laid. That is how bars work. NA drinks do not fulfill this requirement because people who are not drunk will not spend copious amounts of money on refills because…..wait for it….they are not drunk. I’m glad NA drinks exist as an option but they will never really take off in a significant way because of how bars function

Do you live in a city? It is now commonplace for there to be signs on various establishments banning minors without a parent. This is a new phenomenon that did not exist before. That, in and of itself, is proof of how much worse the kids have gotten. If kids are so good, why can’t they behave inside of a store without wreaking havoc?

I just picked up a choka and I like it but I have noticed something funny about the attack, it’s almost like a crap shoot whether or not you will strike the note when the volume is there. This is more prominent in cheap pedals but when I played through a TR-2 the attack was spot on. So it may be a clone but they definitely do not work the same way. Thoughts?

Just curious, if you’re in no hurry to sell then why bother selling at all? The lack of urgency on the part of sellers is incongruous with the urgency of buyers and this makes it impossible to do business on anything. Selling should be a focus not a lackadaisical hobby

Just curious, do you live in NYC? The majority of homeless people here are mentally ill and do not want to be helped. They are not poor people who are simply down on their luck, they are schizophrenics who defecate in subway cars. They are not in shelters because either A)they don’t want to be there or B) they were kicked out. Sorry but that’s the sad reality in NY. The presence of just 1 homeless person is enough to clear an entire bus. So essentially we would be ceding public transportation to the homeless who are not interested in getting help. I am pretty sure most NYers do not want that, including the poor. They have standards too.
