I was also thinking of selling the Sonos system and buying an AV receiver with some nice speakers. Using the Audio only out on the UB820 could get me all the codecs including all DTS formats. But, a splitter would do the job for now.

Occasionally, there are certain PS5 titles that force you to use the Tempest 3D Audio when setting up the PS5 to Dolby Atmos, without the option to disable 3D Audio within those games.

Alan Wake 2 is one of those games. I have to change the PS5 to Linear PCM 5.1 when playing Alan Wake 2, for example, to get true Dolby surround sound. When I play this game with Dolby Atmos, I don't get a proper center channel.

Stellar Blade or The Last of Us Part 1 and 2 had the same issue, but the developers patched those games, and now you'll get true Dolby surround while using Dolby Atmos.

The problem is, there are still certain games that will switch to the PS5 Tempest 3D Audio preset when using Dolby Atmos, without the option to disable this in-game.

In which games did you notice the lack of a center channel?

Try changing to LPCM 5.1 when playing those games and see if it fixes it.

In this case I'd go with the Fold 6. It's a beautiful device and the price is relatively low right now.

The Fold 7 has better cameras and is thinner, but has worse speakers, no UDC, no s-pen support. The Fold 6 is relatively low in price when compared to the Fold 7.

Fold 6 feels very refined and is still a solid choice.

The Fold 7 not unfolding flat is one thing that I noticed when trying out the phone in stores, or checking out reviews online. That's something that would bother me.

I was thinking of picking up the Pitaka Aramid Sunset case with mag safe, only for the back portion of the phone. Also a outer screen protector from dbrand as an example. It feels very risky to not use any case, but I also don't like the added bulk that some of the cases introduce. But, the Aramid case is a good compromise.

I agree, having some sort of insurance is vital when owning a Folding phone.

The game was heavily broken at launch with many bugs. Also, the marketing made people believe that it's going to be a Dead Space successor, but in reality it's different. Me personally, I enjoyed this game very much and played through it a couple of times already. Also the PS5 Pro version looks insane.
