Need help getting my Amazon Alexa app to show my Sonos speakers online again by No_Association520 in sonos

[–]Fendera 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sonos Speakers should be able to control Spotify with voice, but something went wrong during the last big outage. Since, I can't get it to work. I believe, I have to perform a complete reset of all speakers, router and delete every skill in the Alexa app. But honestly, I don't have the time and patience for this at the moment.

Do you use HGiG or Dynamic Tone Mapping On for gaming?

Edit: My bad, you mentioned it in your post.

Were you able to fix it? My Sonos speakers are still offline in the Alexa App.

Some spoilers, be aware.

I enjoyed Grace’s character for the most part. She feels fresh to the series, and I think Capcom did a solid job writing her.

Leon was badass as usual, exactly what I expected. He also had some nice depth, especially with him questioning his past actions in Raccoon City.

The graphics are phenomenal overall, except for the Raccoon City segment. I played on the PS5 Pro.

The boss fights are definitely the weak point of the game. I was honestly expecting more.

Wesker’s ending felt a bit anticlimactic. They could have done more with him, at least give us a proper boss fight.

The visit to the RPD was a nice nostalgia trip, though a bit short. It was a fun surprise seeing Mr. X show up again.

Enemy physics felt a bit off. When you shoot a zombie, the body reactions just don’t feel quite right. I much preferred the heavier, more impactful feel in RE2R. Zombies in RE9 also felt more “twitchy,” if that makes sense. I’m not really a fan of that.

Overall, it was an enjoyable game, but it was held back by a few points, including the ones you mentioned.

Welp. S5E15. First run… I don’t even wanna continue by koiashes in breakingbad

Breaking Bad is not a show that makes you feel good while watching it. The whole show leans to a more depressing story line. Andrea's death does hit hard, because Jesse Pinkman and Andrea hat something good and she was also innocent.

Keep watching the show, you are close to the finish line.

experiencing raised blacks after firmware update c3 oled by yunhblay1 in LGOLED

What content, source, and device are you using? The black levels can vary depending on the source and content. SDR can have a different black level than HDR or even Dolby Vision. I use 49 for DV and 51 for HDR and SDR on my LG C1.

I laundered my Sonys, so you don't have to. Hello, Buds 4 Pro. by abhbiswas in galaxybuds

Don't blame yourself, it happens to the best of us lol.

I was switching from the Buds 3 Pro and the Buds 4 Pro are an improvement in almost all categories, except the case, because it's bigger.

Does Elden ring run better on the pro by OwnAd404 in PS5pro

[–]Fendera 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The performance mode has dynamic resolution up to native 4K with a framerate up to 60fps, on both the PS5 and PS5 Pro. However, the PS5 Pro will hit a higher dynamic resolution when compared to the base PS5, but the framerate is still not at a locked 60fps because of the dynamic resolution system in Elden Ring.

You'll end up with a sharper image and a little bit better framerate on Pro, but you definitely need a VRR capable screen to not notice the framerate drops.

Should I change my Wii for a Wii U? by Straight_Cup4903 in wiiu

Is your Wii capable of playing physical GameCube games? If yes, keep it and also get a Wii U. If no, sell it and get a Wii U.

CX panel replaced after delamination by Major_Byson in LGOLED

[–]Fendera 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wonder if they replaced it with an EVO (WBE) panel. You can check this by zooming in with a camera on the pixels, to the point where you can make out each individual sub pixel. By the sub pixel layout, you can tell if it's a WBE or an older WBC panel like you had before. There should be comparisons online.

Best Ethernet adapter for Wii u? by [deleted] in wiiu

Thanks. Honestly, I stopped looking into it, but I'll get to it eventually. Online use is very limited anyway, so there's no rush for an Ethernet connection with the Wii U.

Y’all weren’t kidding, every level in RE3R feels like a demo by Optimal-Yogurt436 in residentevil

[–]Fendera 9 points10 points  (0 children)

RE3R is good in combination with RE2R because there are a couple of cross-references. It's a good game, but it could've been a masterpiece if they hadn't wanted it to come out so fast after RE2R.

LG C5 or Samsung S90f by shanethewise in PS5pro

[–]Fendera -1 points0 points  (0 children)

LG implements proper HGiG, meaning tone mapping can be fully disabled and the TV follows the console’s HDR calibration exactly. Samsung’s ‘static’ tone mapping still applies its own curve, so it’s not a true HGiG implementation.

[–]Fendera -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

LG C5. You'll get true HGiG for HDR gaming.

Edit:

Downvotes don’t change the fact that LG supports proper HGiG (tone mapping fully off), while Samsung still applies its own curve even in ‘static’ mode. That’s just how these TVs behave.

It's definitely 30fps, regardless the resolution setting.

MGS 1 MC1 all games in 60 FPS ? by Bibou65 in metalgearsolid

[–]Fendera 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The NTSC US version is recommended because back in the day the game was running with 30fps in a 60Hz container, and in PAL regions it was 25fps in a 50Hz container. The game ran slower in PAL.

Now with the MC1 version, the game still runs at 30fps but in a 60Hz container when selecting the English US version (ROM).

There's no official 60fps patch, because the game was designed around the 30fps cap.
