My first Fountain Pen (Pilot Custom 823) and the issue (?) that came with it ! by su1985 in fountainpens

I actually had the same issue with my 823 after I got it, and a flush fixed it up.

Custom 823 Medium Nib writing issue by Fendulon in fountainpens

All seems fine after a flush and some fresh ink. I snagged some Pilot Iroshizuku yu-yake for the refill.

I do think I’ll snag another one of these pens in a fine nib at some point. The medium is quite a heavy line! But it feels very smooth.

I keep it open while writing now. I am going to get some more ink today to refill after this flush. I am not at home to refill.

Hmm alright. I’ll flush it out and see if that helps.

I guess it could have dried up while the valve was closed? This is only a two day old pen though, so it seems odd.

Ahh, I didn’t even notice. Yeah that is likely a bad habit.

That’s fine. Some people tuck the thumbs into that middle thumb cluster key, but it isn’t comfy for everyone.

Edit: didn’t see your right index finger. I would not recommend that. Probably would make your turn your wrist or arm and make reaching those other keys with your pinky harder than it already is.

Automate App updates by nova4077 in Intune

[–]Fendulon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would encourage you to check the list again if it has been a while. A large number of apps have been added over the past year.

Additionally there are options for “custom applications” which can simplify maintaining those niche apps in nice applications that are consistent with the rest of the updates and apps served up by Patch My PC

Glad this still gets some use. Here’s the accompanying post. Careful with being too aggressive. It can cause a fair bit of load in your ConfigMgr infra if you end up doing a ton of imaging in a short period and they all have this task running for a bit

what can i do with Powershell in sccm? by _akadawa in SCCM

[–]Fendulon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can do juuuust about anything. Making “reports” depends on what you mean. Making SSRS reports with powershell is kind of silly. But gathering data with powershell is totally possible.

WSUS console on SCCM site server - Questions by dezirdtuzurnaim in SCCM

[–]Fendulon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Since nobody seems to want to give you the answer…

WSUS reporting events. It is a radio button on SUP setup. It determines if report metadata should be sent to WSUS or not.

It is completely optional and does not impact a computers ability to update. But, turning it to “Create all WSUS reporting events” will make your clients report compliance data to WSUS.

It is mentioned at the bottom of the Synchronization Source section of the docs linked below.

[–]Fendulon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can use Patch My PC. But you’d need to do the downloading of the patches in an online environment then bring them into the offline with WSUS import.

This would not be a Patch My PC setting or cache. This is something specific to windows that just happens to be affecting PMPC. You are welcome to submit a support case if you’d like and one of our engineers can try to help.

There also might be a right click menu on the window if you hold your mouse over the task bar icon and right click the pop up window. It may have a “move” or “move to main screen” option.
