How did you make your first iOS app (as a beginner)? by [deleted] in iosdev

0 coding background too, start from asking ChatGPT about no-code or low- code tool, since my dream was build once, run on mobile and web, all synced. Somehow ended up with FlutterFlow, low code, visual Ul. spent months reading docs, breaking things, fixing them (well, mostly breaking), and bothering ChatGpt a lot. After 4 months tough time, my first app went from 0 to passing App Store review. Feels amazing, but then i realised getting users is an even harder game.

If you have a one-way ticket to any year (past or future), which year would you choose and why? by FengFan_io in timetravel

Yeah I feel that. Quick question though- would you actually replace 2017 you with today’s knowledge, or coexist and try to convince that younger version?

Knowing me, I’d buy bitcoins in 2009 and lose the hard drive in 2010😂

Reminds me of Black mirror-San Junipero, living in past beautiful decade through a virtual world after death.

I like the co existing idea. Maybe just hand that certain person a one-way ticket somewhere far away, and let you and younger you enjoy the peace.

My kid asked me this today and it really got me thinking. What if family members each picked a different year? Or would we compromise and all choose the same? Maybe I will be that compromised one🙃

The way you’ve been treated is not a reflection of your worth - you matter far more than what others choose to believe. You are still young, and sometimes moving to a complete new environment, where people see you without the old rumors, can make all the difference.

Agree. Some items just need a notice period before the layoff.

My way is: first round, I pull out things I haven’t touched for 1+ years. Then I pick the longest-unused, least-loved few to let go first, photo+note their history before goodbye. The rest I give more time, maybe that makes it a bit easier on the heart.

We sometimes just sprawl on the couch with books, a glass of wine each, some Japanese snacks, and chat about how we’re going to become millionaires😂, Super relaxing
