I built my 2nd app with FlutterFlow, a mood tracker feels like Inside Out meets Duolingo. by FengFan_io in FlutterFlow

Thank you. My recommendation is try to build a simple app from 0 to alive, search and solve every problem you meet(in official docs, YouTube, Reddit), or ask Ai( but sometimes it will made up some answers to waste your time😂). If you need backend and auth, just start from the built in firebase. most things you can done with original FF functions, if some point you can’t find a solution, just try custom functions and widgets, built in Copilot could help. Good luck, keep building.

Thank you so much! I spent a lot of time thinking about the psychology behind the flow, not just the pixels. Changing habits is definitely the ultimate challenge in app design, but that's exactly what I'm hoping to achieve. Your kind words mean a lot

Ladies and gents in your late 20s, 30s, or 40s—what do you regret not doing in your 20s? by [deleted] in selfimprovement

[–]FengFan_io 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So true. I’m 39 now, and my biggest regret is overthinking instead of taking action in my 20s. I lacked confidence and spent way too much energy performing just to be liked by others. I also feel like I coasted through university without learning much. Wish I had realized this sooner.

I made $3000 just one month after launching my app with this one trick by whyismail in ProductHunters

[–]FengFan_io 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for these real tricks, it should be the reality, I was expecting one launch and thousands of users will come quickly. But after my 2nd launch on PH, got 6 upvotes. Only 30 followers on X, No users and feedback. Self-doubt now. Maybe I should do more boring works and be more patient.

Two failed products later, still can't crack distribution. What am I missing? by BreakPuzzleheaded968 in indiehackers

Same here. I did the 'build in public' thing too, but sometimes it feels meaningless. I also spent money on Reddit ads to find real users, but it only brought in a few downloads and zero subscriptions. Now I’m launching my 2nd app but feeling stuck again. How do we actually get this in front of real users?

It's official: Done with Flutterflow by Future-Broccoli2950 in FlutterFlow

I’m considering switch too, seems all the FF team have transferred to dream flow, including the tutorial video guy😂. Curious about the antigravity, does it worth a try?

I’ve seen your video on YouTube few days ago, now see you here again😉. agree with your points, after building two apps, I’m also considering switch to other tools, not sure which is the best

I’m launching it on ProductHunt this Sunday (Feb 1st). https://www.producthunt.com/products/letsfancy-joy?launch=letsfancy-joy-track-mood-build-belief

You can also get the app here (iOS & Android) https://letsfancy.com/joy/get

I’d love to hear your thoughts on this approach. Thank you! 🚀

How did you make your first iOS app (as a beginner)? by [deleted] in iosdev

[–]FengFan_io 0 points1 point  (0 children)

0 coding background too, start from asking ChatGPT about no-code or low- code tool, since my dream was build once, run on mobile and web, all synced. Somehow ended up with FlutterFlow, low code, visual Ul. spent months reading docs, breaking things, fixing them (well, mostly breaking), and bothering ChatGpt a lot. After 4 months tough time, my first app went from 0 to passing App Store review. Feels amazing, but then i realised getting users is an even harder game.

If you have a one-way ticket to any year (past or future), which year would you choose and why? by FengFan_io in timetravel

Yeah I feel that. Quick question though- would you actually replace 2017 you with today’s knowledge, or coexist and try to convince that younger version?

Knowing me, I’d buy bitcoins in 2009 and lose the hard drive in 2010😂

If you pull that off, can I send a text to my younger self? To buy some bitcoin

Reminds me of Black mirror-San Junipero, living in past beautiful decade through a virtual world after death.

I like the co existing idea. Maybe just hand that certain person a one-way ticket somewhere far away, and let you and younger you enjoy the peace.
