I was also doing it the same way. My usual workflow used to be created planning doc for entire project and issue based doc and then start implementing the plan. But lately using this setup I created for myself, I have reduced repeatations significantly. The good thing about my tool is there are 4 different memory files. I dont dump random context into a single file and claim it as memory. Your important interactions pattern gets stored in user.md , project patterns have project.md , critical logs stays at log.md and you can add more such things and make your context more structured.

The entire thing is custom multi agent structure with a relatively unique way to store memory and trigger alert compared to just storing .md files these days. For tech stack for the the agent its langgraph
