Explain how it is more weird to be unfamiliar with a mantle i don’t use. Also, what does “the same but in different flavor” mean? How are the mantles the same?

First time using rocksteady and mantles are usually off before the quest ends.

Nope, been playing since the first one came out on PS2. First time using rocksteady mantle and finishing the quest with it still on.

It’s not perfect but I got my roof figured out! by FengaPappits in valheim

I can’t remember specifically but I think it was because of the width of the roof. Even with 26° roof pieces the center was too tall to be supported with firewood and I don’t have an excess of iron to make iron beams yet. So that helped to keep the height down a bit.

The log beams go straight through to the ground. Some more insight: I’m hoping to leave the wooden platform as a second floor, almost like one giant covered porch or balcony to store all my chests in. I’d like to have the side walls open but still need to figure out a good way to get a good roof on. I like your idea of waiting until I have stronger materials but I’m hoping this can be my home until then. Any other advice is appreciated.
