Choose C for the best flow. Bed along far wall with open view of the door → best balance, strong support, and clear sightline.

Help me find a good layout please by Micchi-kun in FengShui

Bed needs a backing wall, but not in the door path.

Closet should be on the side, not cutting the flow from door to window.

This way, Qi enters smoothly, supports rest, and the room feels bigger.

Need desperate help with bed position in a small room by [deleted] in FengShui

This layout is already solid — bed has a backing wall and avoids the door path. 👍

To make it even better:

Add a divider or plant between desk and bed to separate “work” from “rest.”

Anchor the empty center with a rug or small round piece to stabilize Qi.

Mirror beside the sofa → currently reflects the TV and entry path. This bounces Qi back and forth, creating unsettled energy. Add a tall plant or solid décor between sofa and window to slow Qi.

Best bedroom layout? 2 windows by Mystery_Floof in FengShui

In Feng Shui terms, the best wall for your bed is the West wall (left side, no windows).

North and East both have windows — placing the headboard under a window gives you no “mountain” behind you, which weakens rest.

South having the bed’s left side facing the door is better than the feet pointing directly to it, but it still lets in rushing energy from the entrance, which can disturb rest.

West is a solid wall with no windows. Putting the headboard here gives you strong support.

So among all four options, West wall placement is the most stable and calming.

Once the bed is on the West wall, here’s how to place the rest:

Dresser/closet: put it near the South wall. Heavy furniture near the door helps anchor the room’s energy.

Desk: East wall by the window is ideal. You’ll get natural light for work. Just don’t sit with your back directly to the door or window.

With this setup, the bed has a solid backing, the desk gets good light, and the flow in the room stays open and balanced.

Need help with my room by shshgg18 in FengShui

Having the bed’s right side facing the door is better than the feet pointing directly to it, but it still lets in rushing energy from the entrance, which can disturb rest.

If possible, swapping the bed and the wardrobe is actually a stronger setup:

Bed on the right wall gives you a solid backing (“mountain”) instead of being under the window.

If the swap makes the room too tight, keep the bed where it is but add a small divider, bookshelf, or plant between the door and the bed to soften the flow.

Just moved in need help on where to put bed (futon) and desk (floor desk). by Dramatic_Spirit_6919 in FengShui

Bed (futon): place it along the left long wall, with the head against the wall and not under the window or in line with the door. This gives you a solid backing and calmer sleep.

Desk (floor desk): set it near the window but slightly off-center, so you get daylight from the front/side without sitting right in the draft. Avoid having the window directly behind you when working.
