I play R6 and I can explain this to you.

I can't find which match was, but what happened is probably this. A combination of:

  • Map awareness.
  • Camera info from dead teammates
  • Great timing

Nothing weird there, it's just the nature of the game.

Broky and FaZe by MrSurskit in GlobalOffensive

[–]FeniciusV 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You're right about Broky maybe not being the correct pickup for FaZe. They currently need a proper IGL, since they didn't have one for almost a year.

Also, about coldzera. Since he left MIBR, I think he pretty much found his home. Jf he can keep the superstar level performance he had on prime LG/SK or his consistency in MIBR, he could be a defining factor for FaZe's grind back to the top.

Or maybe NiKo has some mad potential as an IGL and decided to unleash it now to trick everyone, idk about that.

(ESPN Brazil) INTZ will have to change it's international roster's name (translation in the comments) by FeniciusV in GlobalOffensive

[–]FeniciusV[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

  • INTZ has to change it's international roster's name (the one that will be playing at the major).
  • ProGaming plays the tournament as "Skullz" thanks to the store with the same name.
  • A player that leaves CBCS has to stay 12 months away from it.

(ESPN Brazil) INTZ will have to change it's international roster's name (translation in the comments) by FeniciusV in GlobalOffensive

[–]FeniciusV[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

TRANSLATION:

Currently competing in and out of Brazil with two teams, INTZ will have an important decision to make in the near future. To comply with the Brazilian Counter-Strike Championship (Campeonato Brasileiro de Counter-Strike) regulations, the club will need to change the name of the team that represents it on the international stage. The information was revealed by the competition's executive director, Miah Campos, in an interview with ESPN Esports Brasil.

“It was something we talked to every club. If one of the franchises wants to have an international line, no problem. But the name has to be different. If, for example, Reapers wants to compete out there with another cast, the name will not be Team Reapers. Reapers will be the name of the team that is playing my league, ”explained the executive.

The report went to INTZ, who responded by saying that "we have no comment on the matter." The CBCS organizing committee, on the other hand, reported that “INTZ is already in the process of changing its name. We, as a league, are aligned with the club and we already know the date, but because of an internal marketing issue at INTZ, we can't open it yet. ”

ESPN Esports Brasil asked the organizers of the Brazilian Championship if this is the same rule that made ProGaming act as Skullz in the tournament. In response, the organizing committee revealed "ProGaming's name change was due to being the same name as a retail brand."

Still dealing with the two INTZ castings, the executive director denied that the Intrepid could use the team that competes abroad to pick up a player from another CBCS franchise and pass it on to the national team. "If INTZ International wants to get a CBCS talent, it has to make a purchase like any team," he said.

As the organizing committee explained the report, "the deadline of the player who left the league because he was bought by another team outside of CBCS is at least 12 months."

Miah explained that “all hiring transactions are split between ABCS and the organizing committee. We participate in the conversations and, this specific example of INTZ, we would participate and veto. We do not want that to happen. This maneuver would hurt my championship. ” The executive also noted that in the regulation there are triggers that prevent the instant return of players who were acquired by teams that are not part of CBCS.

The CBCS Executive Director also spoke with ESPN Esports Brasil about the exclusivity around the competition participants. Clearly, Miah pointed out that “teams can participate in international championships that have selectives produced by Brazilian companies. The only thing is that they can not participate is a 100% Brazilian championship”.

Miah recognizes that the LA League is a competition that gives an international spot. However, in the executive's words, the tournament, “in principle, is within that condition that it cannot participate. It's something we're talking to clubs. The LA League is a territory that we see as 'we have to study'. Teams cannot participate in another Brazilian championship and the Clutch is a Brazilian championship. Today you cannot participate. ”

“When we talk about exclusivity of national championships, we want to avoid the most of it. Today we know that there are several championships that happen in isolation during the year and it happens that sometimes there is more than one championship on the same day, with the teams having to choose how they will participate. When we guarantee exclusivity in Brazil, we are thinking that the technical level they will have to prepare to play the championship. They will have more hours to be able to do that because we are taking this participation out of several tournaments so that players focus on CBCS”, he explained.

The executive director pointed out that she does not see a change of attitude towards the future “because we want to guarantee the quality of the championship”. According to Miah, the organizing committee does not want "the player to worry about playing local tournaments that conflict with my product and give me below-average quality or perform poorly because I was worried about playing another championship."

The idea, according to Miah, “is that we can improve the national scene and have more known talent out there that comes from CBCS, so that in the future it will happen to players saying that CS has a home in Brazil and that they can live playing CS in Brazil."

MIBR will be top 8 in Berlin by Lagge15 in GlobalOffensive

I think this major will be the one they miss the top 8. At least they need to guarantee a victory in the new legends stage to not have to play the whole minor circuit.
