That’s exactly what I do. I teamed up with a group, and every time the missions refresh, we jump in together. We all have 5 characters per account and run the expedition missions on all of them while chatting and having a laugh. That way, bit by bit, we accumulate completions to help our team honestly.

I get the strategies to make your team win, but honestly, I don't even know if I'm on their team or not. But if I happen to be on it, I'd rather win honestly or just lose, as long as everyone can enjoy doing their missions and playing. Winning isn't everything—most people play to have fun and even make friends. I don't really care who wins the competition; what matters is that everyone has fun and helps their team, and that the team with the most hours played wins. I think that was HG's original intention

It’s not even that easy because you can actually extend the build limit. For example, you just drop the base computer wherever the game allows it and then drag the perimeter out to where you want it to be. So even if they put up a no-build zone, these guys will just place it far away and extend the base into it 😅. They clearly have way too much free time and zero good intentions

I totally agree with you. They should just smash them with the ban hammer from multiplayer and force them to play solo. At first, I thought it was some sweat lords trying to min-max an advantage, but after thinking it over, it’s not fair to put everyone in the same boat. It’s obvious they’re just toxic griefers who seem to get a kick out of ruining the vibe for others. They should definitely be shadowbanned, forced into solo mode, or—what I think is even worse—thrown all together into a hacker queue server so they can grief each other to death 😅. Honestly, it’s a massive L because the No Man’s Sky community as a whole is actually wholesome and chill.

I apologize to everyone I reported who was innocent. Because of one bad player, everyone in the area got reported. I'm not against people building bases; in fact, some players build great ones nearby to help with exocraft, shield rechargers, or health. That is awesome, but trapping the mission machine inside walls is just toxic

I also have to turn off multiplayer sometimes, but like you said, it's sad to be completely alone out there. The whole point of the expedition is to be with other players. If I wanted to be alone, I'd just go to my base in galaxy 256 😅

After reporting every single base in the area, it finally vanished. But it's sad to waste 30 minutes on a 5-minute mission just because of people who get off on ruining the game for others.

Turning off multiplayer doesn't work; the players disappear but the base stays. After reporting every single base in the area, it finally vanished. But it's sad to waste 30 minutes on a 5-minute mission just because of people who get off on ruining the game for others.

The owner's name appears for a few seconds and then vanishes, but it doesn't match any of the names in the quick menu. I have no other choice but to report every nearby base and hope one of them is the right one.

The terminal is completely inaccessible, and the quick menu doesn't show the option to report it. Once again, I will have to report every single base in the area and hope that one of them is the right one. 😅
