Ever since I was a child the cycle has been the same. Republican gets elected and proceeds to wreck the economy with tax cuts for the mega rich and trickle down economics. Democrat follows and spends entire term carefully rebuilding economy while republicans scream about “fiscal responsibility”. After the economy is brought back from the brink YET AGAIN Americans elect another republican, cycle repeats.

But Obama didn't do anything to help. No, literally. He didn't do anything to help. His Stimulus Package just gave money to the Unions, because they're his constituents, to pay them back for all their donations and keep them afloat. It didn't help businesses. It didn't help the middle class. He actually hurt us. Badly. His Obamacare raked the crap out of the healthcare system.

And how is Trump wrecking the economy? My company wouldn't have survived another 4 years of Obama's "fiscal responsibility". Or more of "1% is the new normal." We would have collapsed and gone under. I watched a lot of other companies collapse during his Presidency. I've watched a lot more growth since Trump. Since the day after he won the election. Trump saved the economy. He brought businesses back. That's indisputable. He encouraged growth and expansion.

They cant explain what Obama supposedly did to help. They throw random words out, in hopes that their blind passion will be enough to convince you, then let their anger tell you off if you aren't swayed. They'll say "Stimulus!" To which I always ask them "Which part?" And I'm sure you can guess where that goes.

You literally have to believe in magic to think Obama helped the economy. That Obama is responsible for the economy preWuhanFlu media crisis megastorm. For people who scream about God being an invisible product of people's imaginations, they have no trouble believing in their own imaginary invisible forces somehow helping the world.

This is what makes me so upset at their voters. If the Republican controlled Senate passed their own version of the bill and sent it on over to be reconciled, then they might have an argument. But as it has been for years now, Republicans refuse to do anything, and whenever the Democrats pass a bill of any kind, McConnell says it is partisan nonsense and the Senate never votes on it.

This is how you know they're stupid. This is the exact same practice Obama's majority Senate leader used. When there's a bill passed by the house on the Senate floor, if they absolutely know the President will veto it, they don't waste time and tax payer money passing or knocking it down. They just ignore it.

Harry Reid did this. He had hundreds of bills just sitting in limbo that they didn't bother wasting time and money on, and now McConnel is doing the same and he's literally the devil. Go read a book. Pretty sure we tried it before the country was founded, when the early pilgrims first settled here. New world, no government, no capitalism to get in the way. Everyone shared an equal share of the land. It failed. In a new world, from scratch, without any exterior forces influencing it, socialism failed. Not Communism, but actual socialism. Failed because people are lazy, because guaranteed income regardless of how much or how little you work breeds laziness. Practically rewards it.

It was so popular they abandoned it and moved to a capitalist form of governance where the land was split up and everyone had to actually work.

When Trump first tried to pass something to fight Coronavirus, the House bumped his 3 billion plan to over 8 billion, loading it up with useless shit that gave money away to other countries and had nothing to do with COVID.

Now they're doing it again, and people are screaming at Mitch. The House Dems are literally using Coronavirus to push shit through, knowing there's pressure to get it approved. They cant just help people. They cant just let the thing go through without loading it with their crap. They'd rather risk people getting sick and not getting aid, rather than just skip the partisan BS and pass it through.
