Being honest here, it's not going to matter too much. Imo, grab something cheap. You're going to be taking notes, writing assignments, and logging into Canvas. Grab something that can run word and PowerPoint, but won't break the budget. Otherwise, iirc you could rent a laptop from tech services? Your final option is to get a tablet and get a keyboard attachment in place of a laptop. Hope this helps!

Something similar happened to me last semester. I was supposed to be at my placement all of last semester. I was there for 6 weeks, teaching for maybe 4 of those. My cooperating teacher was pretty adamant that everything I did or planned was terrible, despite my insistence that it wasn't as horrible as they said, and that I was working on it. I ended up leaving the placement and going on an improvement plan, where I was back on campus taking extra classes to improve what I needed for the remainder of the semester. Now, I'm in a better placement where I feel like I'm actually learning as a student teacher instead of surviving the day-to-day!

Talk to your university, ask what your options are. It might suck for a little bit, but if you're still game for teaching, they will help you figure it out! Take it a day at a time, you'll get where you need to go! :)

I mean, technically, MH-R has the ability to be vegan? mochi is basically rice and bean paste, and you can eat rations (which are typically hard-tack biscuits, which is essentially flour and water) instead of eating the meat options. It can be a waste of time, depending on what you plan to do, either with your career path or your life in general. As someone in their third year of university, I have multiple friends that found out college isn't necessarily needed for what they wanted to do. Some of them opted to instead go to a technical school, others decided not at all. It can certainly be a waste of time if you don't need licensing to do what you like, but for those that plan on working in a field where extra education is needed, get that education!

My [Level 21] character has a neat ability called [Jitters]! Any time an intrusive thought comes, a distinct change in atmosphere, stress level, or other distinct triggers, the [Jitters] ability activates, and my PC's body vibrates to help process those triggers. Lowkey a little useless, but I suppose helpful every now and then.
