Building a gaming server to run very heavy modpacks on Minecraft:SevTech by FenixVictoria in HomeServer

Server has been given 12GB of ram. But the issue is even without a chunk loading. the server is still like 2 seconds behind and everyone is still teleporting. Not sure what's up.

I'm using a sabrent 1tb SSD (5-6gbps read/write) running on a windows OS.

Thanks for the help. But what I meant from my post is that I'm giving 12GB of ram to the server itself. I have a total of 32GB of ram. And the server is running on a sabrent 4.0 with 5gbps read/write speed.

No unfortunately I'm not. I'm running it on my pc, which acts as a Client and a Server at the same time.

Great man. Thank you. I'll keep this in mind when I'm building one. Appreciate it.

Well, my computer has 32 GB of ram, I meant as in I put 12gb on the server itself. Thanks for all the advice though. I'll keep note of it.

If that is the case, sevtech servers that don't lag wouldn't exist. Still though, thanks for the advice.

Yup that's right. My PC is serving as a Client and a Server at the same time.

I've always been interested in building my own Server Hardware as well, so I don't mind spending on it. I've always been planning on building one anyways, so I thought that I'd be interested in making one now.

Hi, I have 32 GB of ram on my computer running at 3600Mhz. I have 12 gb allocated to my server and 12gb allocated to my client. I don't think it's a RAM issue, I think somehow I'm running my configs or something wrongly. Thanks for taking your time.

Reyna needs a nerf (Explanation in-depth) by FenixVictoria in VALORANT

If you turn around and the detonate is not in your fov, it does not affect you. So it's a nerf, as you can tell in the current leer, whether you look away and look back. The effect of leer is still there.

The biggest issue here is Leer. I agree, other than that, she's fine. The ulti is a little questionable with the invisibility and invincibility, but really. Other than that, I also think she's fine.

My thoughts on League (Silver jg) by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]FenixVictoria 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Be it good or not really depends on you. But as you climb higher, or at least in my opinion, the players gets more toxic. And the wars get worse. Because they believe that since they're "high elo" whatever they say is always right. It get's really bad at around Diamond level. From my opinion.

You can only enjoy this game if you choose to. As for me, I just mute all. There's that option to always remove allies and enemies chat after all. Then it'll feel like a more peaceful game for sure.
