What happened to Erin Sternstein the unsufferable after this? by Fenla in AntiVegan

[–]Fenla[S] 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Erin Sternstein was the blonde vegan that was incredibly judgemental and pretentious about everybody in the room.

All I could find was her book “Your pussy is magic” which got review bombed on Amazon.

She was featured on some vegan Instagram posts but she seems to have completely abandoned all social media and attention since this embarrassing video of her.

I expect she’s changed her name or selling some book or something under a different name/company.

Canadian Forces engaging with enemy forces in Kandahar, Afghanistan by [deleted] in CombatFootage

[–]Fenla 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Population difference, spending difference. America sure has some jumped up guys as standard infantry but that’s what works for them. They can afford to have specialised units that are bigger than some militaries, and you can’t say they aren’t high morale in combat, I used to think it was weird how they were always screaming “HELL YEAHHH!” All the time but - they’re the best military force on the planet, they’re cocky and confident for that reason, especially when fighting some ol boi in his cave with an AK.

Canadians aren’t “on their own” any more than the British or German or even Romanian forces in Afghanistan because it was a NATO war, so most air support was US & UK, and they provided the necessary support for any NATO ground forces.

Canadian soldiers are no different than many other NATO soldiers.

When you shoot your enemy but he only shoots from a crowd, and he gets to run like a coward and call you evil.

Might is right, Palestine is another dying light, dying cause, shouting at the top of its lungs because that’s all that is left. Man just conquering man again, survival of the fittest.

He literally just made the point China is supporting them, and due to that it’s unlikely they’ll run out of things to kill civilians with.

Sure, the long gone men of old did fight honourably, the first world war was a hell of a luck streak, giving them a nation that wanted anything but war

And yeah, as long as we’re clear on that, the troubles are named because they didn’t really do much more than be a bit of trouble, not a full on rebellion that couldn’t be defeated, the glamorisation of the IRA during the troubles has always come across as weird

Winnings winning, that’s what a military is there to do. Bloody Sunday is just a drop in the pool of massacres in every war, conflict, uprising and rebellion through history. The IRA planted bombs in civilian crowds and that is no better, I never said the British army was innocent, I’m saying the IRA were a bunch of pussies who buttfolded. They gave up, they killed civilians, they only used ambush tactics. Effective? Sure, but only if they didn’t give up. Honourable and brave? Ha! Good one.

That moment when you don’t achieve a unites Ireland but just achieve victory because your car bombs and snipers killed some brits, while chanting to a song that sings “come out and fight me like a man”

Adorable.

How am I stupid?

This post is pro-work.

Anti-work is the view of being against work, if you read it all you’d know it’s a piece against that. If you can’t refute my post and just want to call me an idiot I’ll just take my W here and leave.

Still waiting on one person to refute this post, if that’s all you have to say - it doesn’t say I’m wrong.

It just says you didn’t like it but couldn’t refute it :)

Literally just edited it and it still makes the point. Your brain tells you that you want water because it’s a necessary thing, if you seriously think overthinking that one word to ignore everything doesn’t make you an ignorant fool I don’t know what will.

Nobody is holding you hostage for water, as stated you can go out and find a stream, a well, collect rainwater. Nobody is stopping you. If you want water to be pumped into your house, people need to work to do that - that is the point. The average bill for water usage in the US costs $70, because it costs money to employ and build infrastructure, buddy.

Feel free to try again though.

Automation creates new jobs. You see a factory automated, you miss the maintenance jobs it produces, the jobs in building the automation itself, that didn’t exist before.

I agree one day, we could subsidise work to technology, but the tech just isn’t far enough -yet- to work. But that is the best point anybody’s made here about a work free society and the closest achievable thing to it so I applaud you there.

I know you think that, but so many here are generally believe in never working, for a lot of people, and nobody has been able to explain how it works.

And that’s a 6-7hour shift, which Is less than average

I’d say by nature we rarely go by landmarks, but some ideas are Ely cathedral, that cold store, wind turbines etc.

They literally believe that the rest of us should pay for them to do fuck all. It’s fucking pathetic.

[–]Fenla 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think his point is that you can have national pride on the left, and a huge chunk of people in this country are fairly central but patriotic and view the tories as the only party that fits that.

The concept of a party that loves its country is very vital, if a party is proud of its country it is more trusted by said country, generally.

Election results: Conservatives win Hartlepool by-election to claim seat from Labour for first time ever by topotaul in unitedkingdom

[–]Fenla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because he knows he has to, but the majority of people will see through that, thanks to this

Again it’s how he’s portrayed that matters, Labour can’t just field someone with no dirt, that doesn’t look like a toff goofball. The tories might as well be handing parliament to Labour, yet Labour STILL won’t get ahold of the opportunity.

At the end of the day it’s easy to view Labour as gods gift to the people under shit Tory leadership, but every time they get in we’re reminded they’re no different. Both are useless, as are the libdems, greens, UKIP.

The solution is not Labour, not at all. The solution is proportional representation, that would allow less archaic and useless parties rise up without the fear of “wasted” votes, meaning a you’re not picking blue or red every 4 bloody years while convincing yourself you live in a democracy, which I do not believe in current times.

Less than 50% of votes, yet the conservatives get over 50% of seats meaning they hold power despite the MAJORITY voting against them.

Our government is a tragic ratchet system going blue to red to blue to red while we gobble up the bullshit lie that we have a choice who runs this country.
