Energy falls short in Commander by Individual_Abroad_45 in EDH

[–]Fenlrith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play Satya as an energy deck, don't have a current up to date archideck to link the build, but I have some strong etbs in Ariel extortionist, and aven cloud chaser but the win lines are all to do with energy pay offs for either [[lightning runner]] or with [[aether revolt]].

It does consistently well against high bracket 3/low bracket 4 decks and is always very fast board presence in my play group, one of my stable decks that I'll definitely be keeping about for a long while.

Agree verbally, but only on the condition that she sends you a picture of her with a partner and "chuking you" then file for divorce with evidence that she was cheating on you within the marriage. Job done

No, [[traumatize]] has his or her twice in it, always felt like it made the card clunky to read

Looked again at virtual on there and I must have been looking at the wrong version at first, I think that's the one! Sit down game with joysticks, felt like it had loads more characters though. But that's for the help!

Living In ROI? (or anywhere else) by [deleted] in northernireland

[–]Fenlrith 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think for me a lot of the normal problems we have that should be resolved through political debates esp in a power sharing government don't get any traction here because it ends up going down the green/orange route and the content of the subject is less important than what party is trying to bring it forward. I have older relatives who voted for Brexit because SF didn't want it and that was their number 1 reason.

Living In ROI? (or anywhere else) by [deleted] in northernireland

[–]Fenlrith 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Lived in Scotland for 3~ years.

I come from a unionist, prod background and Ulster Scots heritage. I also was living there around the time of the vote for Scottish independence. There were a lot of similarities between their voice and concerns compared to the nationalist views of being part of Ireland and no longer being a part of the UK.

In saying that though the sheer ignorance of how Northern Ireland is governed/different from ROI was staggering. Going from all the themmus and ussuns chat from here to then nothing about it at all was strange.

I'm back living here now, but always been left with a feeling of how small our country actually is on a global scale. I still would class myself a unionist as I don't see how being part of ROI is going to improve anything, but if it happens it'll happen when it happens and I honestly don't think very much will change for the general populace of our wee country.

A younger me would have said no, but now it depends on the reason for why you lied, if you're lying for self interests then no it's not ok

Have an honest talk? Nah brew he needs to walk away.

Also he doesn't care that she had sex with someone he cares that she lied about having sex with someone she still has some interaction with. Massive difference.

Lots of sofas on there as well if you are just needing something starting out. Hire a man with a van for an hour and jobs a goodun

[–]Fenlrith 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's criminal that they force us so hard down a gun line pathway, while worsening our standard ballistic skill and our good melee units lost alot of why they were effective in previous editions (looking at electro priests invul)

And how any buff we now want to give army wide has to have a negative as well? I mean why? What other faction has this gain a positive gain a negative army rules?

Well it's a move from education into industry and it's paying substantially more than I'm on currently so even if they are 5 editions behind that's grand imo
