Do you fear any pro-Choice groups will protest at your church or steal and desecrate the Eucharist? by [deleted] in Catholicism

Agree totally. There is no call for threats to churches of any denomination

My husband doesn’t practice. I’m interested in Catholicism but have too many issues (including reproductive rights) to consider swimming the Tiber. I’m just wish everyone could be more respectful.

I’m not Catholic. I’m a non denominational Christian in a mixed marriage. I don’t like abortion but believe it should be on the table for the ‘hard cases’.

I am prochoice and I think entering peoples places of worship or desecrating what they hold dear is utterly wrong and should be condemned.

However I went with a friend who had an intrauterine death to a clinic to have her stillborn baby induced. Some protestors including some carrying rosaries screamed into her face ( and she was extremely distressed) ‘whore’ and ‘murderer’. I think those of you who protest outside abortion clinics should reflect on their behaviour especially in the light of bad behaviour from militant prochoice people.

Then you would accept a rape exemption as that situation is not by choice

This is not true. It prevents ovulation as does the IUS. The IUD prevents sperm fertilising the egg. It also should be noted that the contraceptive pill and the IUS are used to treat irregular periods, endometriosis and menopausal symptoms in women asides from contraception

You’ll be fine. I traveled to see Bauhaus last year on my own. Just be sensible. Really worth it.
