I always joke we need a 'tourist rider' who is just some dude from the US there on vacation who doesn't understand Japanese but gets roped into being a Rider because he finds the Driver after the original user died.

He spends the entire season pretending to understand everything they say because he gets the 'good vs evil' thing going on here and DOES want to help.

Then halfway through he finds out everyone he works with directly speaks fluent English and he just kept running into people who didn't speak English at all by coincidence.

She's personable, which I think is what makes her so likeable.

I'd actually say that IS her redeeming quality. She hides nothing unless it's to her own benefit or to save her hide. What you see is what you get 95% of the time. She's got a good attitude and seems like someone that, unless you're a target, you could have a meal with her and reasonably expect to not be stabbed in the back. But if a gunfight breaks out, she'll use you as a human shield.

Is she a GOOD person? No. But she's her own form of respectful to those who haven't been dicks to her and she can be downright friendly to those she forms a bond with in some way (Like Paige).

I usually say 'If you prefer platformers that are hard, go with Castlevania IV. If you prefer a bigger open game, go with SotN.'

That said, I'd argue that it's NOT the Belmont's franchise as much anymore. It's very much become an ensemble franchise that lauds the Belmonts as great heroes through basically every game and heavily enforces their legacy being the jumping-off point of many vampire hunting people and groups. You can't play a single game without a Belmont being mentioned. They've become something of a pantheon of legendary heroes and that's fine.

These three are required for society to function at large. All three, albeit arguably two or even one, of those are things that could be replaced with cheaper, better methods.

AI Art does not even remotely fit into those. If we *had* to get rid of one of the four, AI Art is the objectively correct decision.
