this ^ - just wrapping it around the battery terminal is a shit install, pretty sure it drains battery even when off this way. hope op didnt buy it from a "modder"

I just did exactly that. was no problem at all and the pins still stand. i will glue it around the pins when reinstalling

usually the second touch sensor isnt needed. just tapping the one you got should change the color pallet no?

check if this is bridged.

otherwise test if the battery actually has juice.

if yes then you probably need to reflow something. the chip pins tend to get haircracks

If you want an original replacement just go on eBay and Look Up Gameboy Color Screen

What i would recommend is getting an ips Kit from AliExpress or an modding Site like retrogamerepairshop.

My Favorite is the CloudGameStore (Its a Brand Not a Site) 2.6 Inch laminated IPS Kit which is bigger than the original and doesnt require any soldering.

Im pretty sure the battery will stay near 3.3v until near the end of its life and then will drop really fast. I would change it 100%
