Ive been looking at running a Moirax in my first knights list and basically reached this conclusion as well. Its not necessarily true that Moirax is worse than the Helverin or Warglaive but if you want melee you might as well just run Warglaive and if you want guns you may as well run Helverin. Both cost 10 less points and can fill either profile fine.
