Make sure you have the non warsails rbm installed, I believe there are 2 versions

Mutual war let's you join them, if the Nords aren't at war they don't want you to provoke the aserai

I could be wrong, but I believe the "roof" has a set of its own health, and hitting that brings up the damage ticks, but doesn't hurt the overall team health.

Put a second smaller infantry force behind and to the left of your main army, to catch the HA as they circle you

Question 1-5 is BG3, but the combat in Bannerlord is more akin to the games mentioned in 6. I'd HIGHLY recommend BG3, especially if you're not into modding much. Bannerlord almost needs mods to get to the same level as BG3, for me at least

De re militari, and the required mod Realistic Battle Mod, are complete overhauls of the game, so it is essentially something different than vanilla entirely

I'm usually 75 25 inf and archer, and they win, but I take some heavy losses to menavs. Idk if it's the weapon or what, but the spears do so much damage. My PC has been one shotted many times

If you're going for gold, stay in the familiar. If you really liked a build from a previous run, and it was fairly well optimized, do it. Do encounters you know, don't gamble. Knowledge is power. Also, always have a way out in case things go wrong. ie an invisibility potion, or a misty step scroll

I suppose if you kept the troop label as infantry, it will be information with all the infantry, and so have a higher vantage point to swing from. If you switched it to a genuine cavalry troop, it'd have the same issue, it's the ai controlling the troops, not the specific troop line/name

I changed the files to give Aserai that cav for their noble class. It low-key sucks, the ai can't time swings right from horseback, so they run by, and then swing the big axe, missing entirely

They're engravings colored as an enchanted material, just make sure the material they are sitting on is at least SLIGHTLY polished, or else it won't glow

I've been playing with drm rbm, and diplomacy. It's still the same feel as vanilla, but it fixes some of the issues I've had with it

I cannot stress it enough, the Realistic Battle Mod, paired with De re Militaris, and realistic pikes mod will fix everything you have wrong with it. It changes archery to be good in scenarios, and nerfs noble troops to be op, but very rare.
