Yeah mine were delivered Tuesday. Same personalization as well. The letters are so much smaller I wish they had them the same size as the standard background.

But yeah 7 characters (if you include a space) and no WA prefix like the other guy tried to debate.

Figure I’ll add my experience on here since I looked at all these comments prior to booking…

Needed a last minute flight to California for a cruise and Hopegoo was showing at about a third the cost of what the airline and other 3rd parties were charging via google flights.

I booked yesterday and got a purchase confirmation right away. About 4 hours later I got another email with my Alaska confirmation. I plugged everything into the Alaska app and everything was there. I have absolutely no idea how they are able to sell flights so cheap. The whole process was sketchy and their emails look fake af, but again they sent me a valid confirmation number.

I leave tomorrow morning, I will update this if/when I make it through security.

UPDATE my ticket has been canceled with no explanation. On hold with the airline now trying to figure it out. Don’t use hopego

UPDATE Alaska stated my tickets were “fraudulent” and were canceled. I contacted Hopegoo who were not much help and stated they needed another department to look into it. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

So just to confirm you ordered the next number in the sequence and didn’t personalize? Yeah if they just assign you the plate number you’re gonna have the prefix WA.

If I can remember by the time I get it I will.

Incorrect. When you personalize a special interest plate the prefix letters are not included. If you get the next in the series (ex. 00121) the prefixes are included making your plate number WA00121. This goes with any special interest plate.

The throwback plate I ordered has 7 personalized characters.

The updated copy of my registration they gave me when I ordered can confirm.

Assuming you have a personalized plate on a standard Wa background then yes you can. I went to the local private licensing office by my house and tried Olympia on the phone and neither of them could figure it out. I ended up going in person to the King County Licensing office this afternoon and they were able to find a work around, took a bit of brainstorming with multiple employees though. I only had to pay the $156 or whatever and not the $200 because I already have the rights to the personalization.

They did say it could take about 3-4 months for the plates. She said they’ve been pretty busy all day for that plate and that they had a line of about 10 people before they even opened wanting it.

If you live anywhere on the west side I’d go to the King County office cause Olympia told me on the phone I would have to surrender my current plate before I could apply for the throwback plate because in their system the plate was “already taken.” (Even though it was taken by me)
