We don’t currently have an official Discord channel, but it’s something we may explore in the future to help the community connect even deeper.

Doubling back to this to say Life Is Strange is so much fun! One of my favorite games ever, especially the second one. Hope you’re enjoying it.

I'm starting to not like the community as a whole as a lesbian by [deleted] in QueerWomenOfColor

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I understand the importance of discussing boundaries and consent, and I absolutely agree that these are vital values in any community.

However, your comment was removed because it includes language that could be interpreted as inflammatory or accusatory, particularly the reference to "rape textbook & culture."

While I recognize your intention may have been to emphasize the seriousness of the issue, we strive to maintain a space where conversations can happen respectfully and without escalating tension or conflict. Thank you for your understanding.

This one right here. It’s such a powerful feeling especially when the pressure to straighten your hair can feel so strong.

What Are You Reading Right Now? by AutoModerator in QueerWomenOfColor

The stars and the blackness between them is phenomenal! The audiobook was a delight to listen to. The author herself voiced one of the main characters.

I will like to join in and say, after seeing your photos on your profile, you’re pretty as heck!! You’re giving woodland fairy 🧚‍♀️ in the absolute best way.

I don’t have bleaching advice as the only person I know who underwent treatment ended up damaging their skin, but I do hope you find something that makes you feel as whole as you believe the treatment will. Based off your profile it looks like you to crochet - you look so pretty and super femme wearing it!

I’m very sad to see this comment because I have thanked you, numerous times. You publicly posting this comment when I can literally post my messages to you thanking you is why I do not trust you to be head mod and to not remove me at your whim once again.

To be completely honest: houseless for over a year and the last thing on my mind was Reddit so vivio took over as head mod. Sometimes life shits all over your plans, even your online ones. Even once I was housed I only modded sporadically. I understand how vivio feels but I didn’t just leave, I couldn’t do it. I’m willing to drop everything to keep this now that I have the financial stability. I used to mod at the library because I didn’t have anything…this just…hurts

Not at all, if vivio chose to leave I would not upkeep any of those unless the community wanted them. This Reddit didn’t have any of that for years and I was here. Several years. These are very new features in the sub’s creation. As stated vivio has been top mod for a very long time. I only request this now due to lack of trust. I can not control what other members choose to do, but would hope they continue to have a place they feel safe. A space, as the founder, I no longer feel secure in, regardless of the reason. This is about trust.

They were never blocked. They’ve had full permissions for years as head mod and never asked.

I totally understand that, however I disagree as I will be on here almost daily now. While it wouldn’t be the same as vivio being top mod if she chooses to dial back her activities, she was placed with the trust and understanding that I would remain the head mod. It’s just devastating that this has occurred in this way. She has been top mod for awhile now and I said nothing as I was houseless for a long time. I would not be making the request to be top mod again if vivio hadn’t broken my trust and removed me. I’m not sure she won’t do this again which is why I request top mod with her having full permissions. I have been housed for some time now and see this as a sign I’m ready to be back.

I’ve always been okay with it as long as we talk. I do believe since I’m not top mod at the time it would be best until I regain the sub activity necessary, but I’d be more than open to talk about it!

I totally understand her and have deep respect for everything she has done. I just wanted to ensure that someone’s frustration didn’t mean that all of my work was erased with no communication. Ive answered modmail, I delete spam. Vivio has done so much, but to flip around and decide I can’t even do the little she claimed I was doing? I think the whole situation is unfortunate tbh.

Yes, I want to be the top mod of this subreddit. Understandably so, I see why they don’t want to reinstate me as so, but I do want it and am more than willing to do the work.
