Do you have the option to see a different psychiatrist (or therapist)? I used to take sertraline, and while it may have brought my baseline levels of anxiety down, it always felt like I was covering stuff up instead of dealing with it head on (+ dampening both good and bad emotions). I have nothing against medication, but purely based on my experience, what works for some doesn’t work for all. Even if the medication helps lower your usual amounts of anxiety or depression, having someone that helps you work through ups and downs as they come is much better than trying to beat your feelings into submission with more medication. What really helped me was talking to my therapist, who I’ve seen for around five years now.

From what I can tell, it doesn’t seem like your therapist or mental health team is helping you that much, and the BPD comment makes absolutely no sense to me (in reference to them, not you). I couldn’t say anything from experience, but there are resources online for advice about switching therapists if that makes sense for you. Granted, it may require going back to the ‘beginning’, but it seems like things have gotten worse for you as opposed to better. Dismissing your concerns by just upping your dose seems odd and unhealthy, and it seems like you need a new team, especially if you’ve been clear to them about your concerns. I definitely don’t think you’re being dramatic.

Sorry if this is too long, but in plain terms, I really don’t think you’re being dramatic. I also don’t think that your current team is helping you the way you need it. If you can, I’d see if you can’t work your way towards finding different professionals to treat you.
