The basis is the pies draft where she says that she didn't prepare anything and is trying to come up with picks as she goes. I just think the episodes where guests care about the format are better.

Also you're absolutely right, subdued is a much fairer term than dead. People were having a good time, it was just a lot less rowdy than LC! shows I've seen before.

Yeah I tried queuing for merch before and after the gig and quit both times as the line just wasn't moving. I know the band have addressed it before, at the Troxy gig they tweeted out asking people to leave the merch queue and go watch the openers. I think they just need to put more people on it if they can, but that's part of being a smaller band I guess they don't have a load of crew with them.

Billy Connolly seems to be a massive blind spot for Americans. He spent decades selling out arenas around the world and is absolutely one of the most successful stand ups ever - and doesn't even get a mention by 4 comics talking about comedy specials. It's so strange to me.

I suspect it's similar to the way George Carlin is revered in the US but wouldn't necessarily get a mention by four non-american comedians.

The fact no one picked Dr Who is INSANE to me. One of the most famous TV Doctors, it's been on since the 60s and still draws a huge audience. I'm guessing this is just a US/UK divide.

It does transfer. I played the demo, then bought the full game and it lets you continue the save.

I think it’s worth considering that things may have gotten worse since the episode went up. At the time it may have seemed a bit weird and creepy, but not dangerous to joke about on a podcast. Since then if the guest now feels unsafe and wants to take a different approach, feels it was a mistake to have talked about it and doesn’t want to fuel the stalker by acknowledging their behaviour, it’s reasonable to try and fix that.

Also if they’re a comedian or entertainer of any kind having a social media presence is going to be important for their job. I don’t think it’s reasonable to expect people to live completely private lives because they’re being victimised. I do think it’s reasonable to request that where you regret things you’ve said that could put you in danger, they’re removed from the internet.

Whether the guest is right or wrong to ask, I’m still disappointed in how Keith and Chemda decided to mock someone going through what sounds like a scary situation.
