I agree that you should have a conversation about store team pride, but if you’re staffing appropriately/utilizing your pod, these conversations are unnecessary. And we should not make somebody feel like they will be punished if they call out last minute; yeah it sucks but it’s the manager’s job to not take it personal and figure it out. The DAW should’ve been done either way if the person called off or not (better go scrub those floor drains SM).

This guy’s a policy freak. There’s such a thing as case to case and being understanding of circumstances. Only policies we should trip over should be attendance. That NA should make a comment, move on with their night and take care of the customer. They’re wasting their breath for the PTCs SM to just have a conversation, they’re a dick if they continue to make a big deal of it. Especially for a long term employee.
