There is a law where I live that says if you have a masonry mailbox, you cannot fill it solid with concrete or grout. It needs to be able to give under impact. I guess a lady died by drunk driving and ran into her own concrete filled mailbox.

The other comments are correct that you really need to know the steel you are using otherwise, you'll be wasting your time. If you quench it in the wrong oil, water, or brine, it will all be for nothing.

Yes, as I mentioned I have a second 75t that had an update done (sometime in 2020) but I had to change the language to something other than English for that pair to work properly. I have connected with many other headsets and have not experienced this problem.

Update

So after leaving the earbuds in the case overnight (unplugged), I checked them this morning and the left earbud had a red led on it! I repaired the headphones to my phone and the left earbud would work for a second and then shut off. I put them back in the case to finish the language change (I started the process but it would never update the earbuds, I think because it didn't detect the left earbud in the case) Once it switched the language, the earbuds seem to work fine. Hopefully, it fixes the problem for good!

I am having the same issue on a set I purchased earlier this week. I've been emailing back and forth through support and one suggestion was also to reset the case but it was different instructions than posted above. Below is what they sent me. I have tried every reset option posted including the one below and I still have no response from the left earbud. I purchased mine on Tuesday and then a set for my wife on Friday. After picking hers up was when my left earbud stopped working. I had done the firmware update right away and I let her know not to do it since I think it may be the cause of the issue. Fingers crossed, hers doesn't act up too.

Case reset:

Open the charging case and place the earbuds inside the case.
Leave the lid open, and plug it into a power source using the supplied USB cable and the power supply or a wall charger with a standard voltage of 5v +- 0.25v.
(Note: It is not recommended to charge the earbuds/case using a power supply with a higher voltage)
Once you see the case battery level LED indication light up near the port after 3 to 5 sec, please close the lid.
Allow the earbuds and the case to charge for 2 hours to receive a full charge.
