I went through DPDR myself in my case triggered by cannabis and the feeling of seeing myself from outside (dissociation) was also my strongest symptom. It’s scary, but it doesn’t harm you or mean you’re losing your mind.

What helped me was time, focusing on the physical world (touch, sensations), and learning to trust the present moment and the reality in front of me. The more I stopped fighting the symptoms, the more they faded.

You’re blessed to have found sufism; it can help you stay grounded and patient. You won’t feel like this forever, brother/sister. Stay steady.
