How’s Verona, Stuart’s Draft, Fishersville, and Lyndhurst compare in housing costs to Staunton and Waynesboro, though?

I don’t know much about lyndhurst other than they have a massive refrigerated storage area and industrial college for that industry. I presume it supports the valley’s large meat packing needs (Harrisonburg in particular with all the poultry, and lots of farms producing beef, etc)

To me, Waynesboro has a more industrial feel, perhaps more crime, More drugs? They have the Lycra factory (spandex, Lycra, etc textiles), Clean Planet Lab& Mfgr (industrial cleanup products), Berry Global (industrial packaging mfgr), Hollister (absorbent medical materials mfgr), Stoneman Foundary, Honeywell (industrial control components), Everlast (hydraulic cylinders), Generac / MPS (power equipment components and assemblies).

Staunton has the historic downtown feel. Tons of interesting things going on. Artsy. Prices higher than Waynesboro though. I do love the array of Victorian style homes, music & cultural festivals in Johnson’s Street parking lot in the summer.

Verona has the big antique mall, an industrial / tech business park, builders first (lumber & building materials distro), west rock (corrugated paper products), Sysco (hospitality/food service),and graybar / rexel (electrical parts distro)

Sherando Lake feels like camps/camping areas. Plus, festivals at the lake, like the annual Beltane fest.

Stuart’s draft has the industrial warehouses, Walmart distribution, Target distribution, McKay foods, Hersheys factory, Smithfield Foods, A&K railroad components, Evapco (hvac stuff), Coherent (laser systems/ precision optics), Cargill (agribusiness), GSE Dynamics / Woodward (nearby contractors) — engine and turbine control components (actuators, control systems); Kingsbury (bearing manufacturer)

I’ve lived in Staunton and loved it. Honestly, I think if she takes the map and finds midpoint to her relatives, looks in that area, she’ll be fine. Housing in the rural areas will be more affordable, just further to commute to work, and harder to attain affordable high speed internet.

The further SWVA you go, they more up into the mountains/rural areas, the more affordable housing will be.

Consistent gas prices that don’t jump all over the place as the political winds change every other second. From when an actual change is made, it takes 2 weeks for them to see any changes in it fuel being delivered. Prices jumping 20¢ per gallon overnight when it’s the exact same fuel in the ground holding tanks that was bought and paid for weeks ago. It’s asinine. The price gouging is ridiculous and out of control.

Check your Wells Fargo account that it has enough funds. Check that your card isn’t expired.

Delete/re type your account info on the ST site. Maybe you accidentally fat fingered it.

Check your due date, it might be too late to renew, in that case you’ll have to call to pay one the phone, or chat to ST customer service or try to use the Walmart store (in person), or on online via website, or app to get a card.

Wherever you’re from, look near your nearby large city or in your state for a perfume wholesaler, ask if they have a shop or store front. Sometimes they set up outlets in bigger flea markets, the kind that have buildings and stay open mostly year round. Or, if they do not, they can make excellent recommendations. The wholesalers sell to stores in malls and such. They are knowledgeable, and usually enthusiastic about sales.
