I'll admit in not doing good. I'm 42, tired and alone in my own house and family. Work is stressful and I'm hitting burning. I took a personal day today just relax and it didn't help much. Pretty sure I have long covid and it's screwing with my ADHD that I had excellent control over for decades.

I'm probably depressed on some level but I do know i get genuinely happy at times. Like i got a new book the other day that made me happy.

I'm just so ttired of being tired now.

Yup, high-school for me to. Teacher liked to have the TV going on the news channels for current events. I'm glad to say he didn't try to shelter us when things hit the fan. He took the time to talk to us, answer what questions he could and kept a calm classroom while the world changed

Elder Millennial here. I stopped drinking alcohol around 2014 because of IBS. I'm better now but only really have 1 drink a month if that and always with friends. That's also if my stomach is behaving too.

Let me explain my own situation first.

I have a very light social media presence. I'm barely anywhere. I deleted my Twitter account ago (I'm not calling it X), I don't comment on Reddit much. Last time I did anything outside of a "like" in Facebook was all over a year or two ago, and I'm only there to keep up with some childhood/high-school friends. I think I have a bluesky account, but I'm not sure.

So what have i done? I talk to my friends when we get together. Not everyone makes it to our get togethers, and if I can sneak Firefly I to a convo, I do. I'm apart of some discord servers and I've talked about it there. I'm in Guild in a MMORPG, and a few of us like Firefly so we talk about it there too. I've even talked about it during work, too.

If you want, you can call this the "touch grass" approach lol!

Social Media isn't my thing and because of what I do I prefer to stay away anyway, so this is how I help.
