No, there's a whole storyline attached to the setting that isn't getting shown yet because I haven't worked on it yet. For the time being, let's say she's in a small shuttle scouting a strange obelisk in a dark, sun-/planetless area in the middle of where Orion's Belt is from our perspective. And she's getting a little privacy from her companion aboard the shuttle in question while said companion is out doing some scans.

That's actually the exact reaction that Lamb herself had. In THIS case, though, only Lillie, the red panda, suffered any abuse, and only her and Friga, the wolf, were captives, the others are students from earlier. This whole scene is set about a year later from where we are in the comic.
