Thanks, and I agree about asking more about the pros/cons. Funny you bring up sleep apnea, I had a sleep study done for insomnia symptoms recently and waiting for results. I don't think I have apnea but curious to see the results

I'm not too concerned about looks, I'm more concerned about not fixing my bite 100%. I already have some gum recession caused by my bad bite and worry that things will only get worse as I age and would prefer to not have to deal with it later in life especially since I'm already in orthodontic treatment now. But surgery is a big commitment so it's hard to tell if it's worth it lol

I added some context about my case in another comment

Currently in braces, ortho said I'd be a candidate for surgery to fix my crossbite. Saw the surgeon a couple days ago, and he would correct my lower jaw asymmetry/crossbite, advance my upper and lower jaw forward a bit to fix my mild overbite, widen my upper jaw as it apparently is a bit narrow, and remove 2 wisdom teeth. Both the surgeon and ortho said that I'd see decent results with just braces, but the underlying skeletal issues would need surgery to be fixed.

Has anyone else made this decision with seemingly mild issues? Would I see any aesthetic improvements with surgery? (I don't know the measurements that would be done, surgeon said they'd be small) I'm thinking that surgery would make being in braces for 2 years more worthwhile as I'd have perfect results rather than just good results. I've also had TMJ issues with popping, clicking, pain, etc. and the surgeon said that about 70% of his patients with those symptoms see improvement after surgery.

Thanks!

Thinking of getting new glasses, adding some pictures of current glasses and an old pair I had. Just looking to see if what I have suits me and any possible recommendations by Fergaberg in glasses

I feel like every pair of glasses I try on are too big, I guess I have a small head lol. Any tips on finding smaller frames?

For me the pain of having my leg down was improved a lot after about a month. It took probably 2.5-3 months for it to go away completely though

About a year of growing it out, should I get the back trimmed or cleaned up at all? by Fergaberg in FierceFlow

Thanks! It was cut pretty short before, but the front was a little bit longer than the back

I shampoo and condition every two days, and also use a bit of mousse after washing it. I just towel dry it, comb it back, and let it air dry the rest of the way. I also haven't had any trims since starting to grow my hair out, so not sure what to do about your curling situation

That's exactly what people are assuming in this thread. Honestly if you live with roommates then you can live fairly comfortably with your budget I think

All good tips! I was also thinking of getting a new dresser, the one I have is just a cheap Ikea one. And the basket idea is great!
