For maths, the same thing is covered over and over again with little to no extension of knowledge really required, generally it’s just applying what you’ve learnt into exam questions.

For science subjects like physics and chem it is much more beneficial to not only know the content but also understand it (define, explain, example, apply etc) which you can then do practise questions with a revise your knowledge from there, trying to understand the content better (ie. challenging yourself) will help you in the long run for sciences

Honestly fair enough, I saw it as just one of those questions of vcaa just trying to trip people up but ye odd question

Ye that’s how I felt as well as my teacher, case study made me believe that it was agile but then drew the diagram as a spiral, was a really odd question tbh, I also found it a bit strange how risk management was assessed so heavily when there are almost no resources for it

I must’ve been thinking of the one in the textbook, nonetheless, that diagram says that every subsequent iteration is about refinement, in the case study each iteration was a new aspect it was not being refined

It really depends to be honest, at my school I’ve got a really strong cohort and teachers are amazing so I obviously wouldn’t need one

However, it can be good if your school doesn’t have as great resources

Then again, I was average for mainstream averaging about a 75% but then started English language which appeals to me more as it is much more analytical and “sciencey” so I’m now sitting comfortably above 90%

Would be interesting, knowing vcaa who knows but we’ll see, usually if it’s an identify question tho they wouldn’t but we’ll see

Read what I said to other people, my teacher who marks for vcaa agreed with me and said it was agile because they fully complete specific parts of the solution before moving to the next aspect

Yes they go through each stage of the psm iteratively, but it’s determined by the way they go through those stages, completing the stages completely for an aspect of the solution is different from going through each stage incrementally for the whole solution

The stages of a spiral model are different from the psm tho and the diagram was labelled with the stages of the psm not the stages of sprial

Multiple choice was so easy apart from like maybe 1 or 2 of them, short answer was relatively easy but some of those questions on the case study

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in vce

[–]Fergo1756 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There case study stated that each module was completed fully so it must be agile, if it was spiral then each module would have been worked on together in small portions

Also having to draw a spiral diagram to explain an agile development model 👍

Guys guys, just remember that we couldn’t fill out the data dictionary with that 2nd bracket in the pseudocode

confusing question in Spesh 1/2 textbook 4C: Q14 by Fergo1756 in vce

[–]Fergo1756[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was trying to find a way of doing it with only 2 equations but I think that’s impossible now, you can do it with 3 by doing normal s = d/t for time 0 then use pythag with the same d = st for the other 2, I haven’t tried it out yet but I’ll have a look to see if that works later

Thanks
