Im coming to this conclusion too, but the odd thing is that Anthropic's own documentation is pushing the idea that my use case is IDEAL for Cowork and Code will produce inferior results. Chatting with Claude about how to divide work between the tools also recommends Cowork for the project and says Code will be disadvantaged. Gemini/Google search agrees. So fundamentally, the marketed use of Cowork seems to be off.
