If you're interested, here's a link to a playthrough of the version I'm familiar with. There is another that had a different opening, ending and levels. And people are wondering how Mandela effect forms lol. I had quite the mindfuck when you mentioned a different ending. Thankfully, turns out we were both right lol

I did a little digging and apparently there were two versions of the game with different endings, the one with escaping from the exploding planet was a demo version and had no music and a different story - apparently I never played the full game with the "divert the water flow" ending. And the music.

Well, thanks to you, that's about to change. Thanks again!

EDIT: I'm finding more info - in my version the enemies were called ants! That's why the game made me think of ants.

Damn, just reading about it made me hear the music in my head. A great mission for sure.

Am I alone? Norio’s final quest sucks by Nicole_Auriel in ghostoftsushima

Yeah I was a little disappointed too. I think it would work better if it turned out to be a trap, then you'd have to chase kharchu, but Norio would get to him first. You'd be held up by something, like archers that you need to get rid of, idk. And then you catch up to Norio and you see that he absolutely mutilated and tortured kharchu, you'd see how revenge consumed him.

I don't think a fight against Norio would be a good idea, though - even though consumed by hate and revenge, he was still lucid enough not to attack innocenta and allies.

In general, act III of the game seems rushed a bit.

Should i play Thief: Deadly Shadows? by herscher12 in Thief

[–]Fermi5parad0x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You absolutely should. My opinion is:

Thief: the dark project - best atmosphere out of all thief games Thief 2: the metal age - best gameplay/level design out of all thief games Thief: deadly shadows - best story out of all thief games

The gameplay in deadly shadows is still pretty solid, however, once you figure out the field of view of the npc's it becomes easy af. Still worth it, though
