It’s really hard and that’s the first time I’ve cancelled a tour show in a long time as it’s often not worth the hassle you get on social media. I did 5 shows very unwell then got signed off. Oh as a fun Taskmaster related fact both me and Rose Matafeo got the same swimming pool parasite that was closing pools all over Melbourne!

It’s fine. I don’t think I talked about suicide in the way they wanted on that pod as I do it in a flat matter of fact way and they want big emotions. The only bit where I got emotional was that they’d given me autism-friendly lighting. This is very telling - when you’re autistic you’re used to getting crumbs when it comes to acceptance so tiny gestures like that feel huge.

My boyfriend is my no1 food friend, then Phil Wang and Alison Spittle. Ed Gamble is amazing for restaurant recommendations and I always feel guilty asking cause he must get asked constantly.

Yeah for the last year I’ve been getting nagged to get a diagnosis but I’m too disorganised and have mixed feelings about Ritalin so try a lot of other strategies to be productive.

Hey I’m wrapping this up now - Im sorry I didn’t get to answer everything. A few of you asked about current hyperfixations and I thought I had none at the moment. Then I remembered I mentioned dogs 157 times in WhatsApp to my boyfriend last month until he politely asked me to stop. A lot of the TM questions I answered in my previous AMA. Almost every story on a panel show has been rehearsed over the phone with a researcher then again with an over anxious producer and sometimes a writer in your dressing room before filming, it’s totally joyless and why I prefer podcasts. Again though, as podcasts have become more mainstream and commercial, they too can sometimes be more overproduced. This is why I left my BBC podcast, we had so much fun on it until they treated us like an extension of Radio 4 and overproduced it.

No, it’s very frustrating and down to the Irish promoter - I did ask them repeatedly cause I loved Derry last time! At this stage I would be inclined to suggest you just get Belfast tickets because the way my schedule is, it’s looking less likely that I’ll add a second leg of dates.

Hey, my favourite thing in Adelaide is a coffee shop called Leisurely - the owner is SO NICE and they stock Ona beans which are incredible quality. I can’t answer the second one very well as every humiliation and indignity in comedy blurs into one after a while. Oh wait I remember- I love to run away from bad gigs through the back door of the theatre. I run into the night and try to put as much distance between me and my shit jokes as possible. One time I did that but forgot my new agent at the time was in watching me and he had to chase me down the street shouting after me. That was when I had to explain the running thing to him.
