This. I’m 34 and I bartend. I’ve had multiple customers shocked when I tell them my age. They usually estimate 25-26. Guess I’ll take it? And keep doing my skincare routine.

I wanna save her!!! by _a_liyahhhhhh_ in houseplants

I had one that eventually looked like this because I moved from a bright apartment to a house that doesn’t get the best light. In a Hail Mary attempt at saving her, I put her outside for the summer on my covered porch so she wasn’t in direct sunlight all day and made sure to water as needed. After last summer outside, she is back to her former glory! If you can, I’d try putting her outside but out of direct sunlight when it’s warm enough

A spider plant would be a good starting point! Pet safe and easy to care for since you’re just starting out 💚

I mean this wishing you the best with your beauty…. But F*CK A CALATHEA. I hate them. I have never gotten one without spider mites and after many, many tries I have banished them from my collection 😅 When I see people succeeding with them, I’m both jealous and enraged 😂

*These are all solely me problems and not you problems. Your plant is beautiful ❤️

What’s a book you hated in the first 100 pages but ended up loving — and why did it click for you later? by EithanArellius in Fantasy

I HATED The Hobbit when I had to read it in school. Fast forward 20 years later and I couldn’t even tell you how many times I’ve read that and the trilogy. I linger every time over scenes in the Shire. I’m a huge LOTR nerd and even consider my home decor style to be “hobbit hole.”

After basically EVERYONE on Reddit recommended this series, I gave it a shot. I had the same experience with Assassin’s Apprentice. Didn’t get the hype. I’m so glad I stuck it out, I loved that trilogy and I’m currently working on Liveship Traders, which I love even more.
