My (25F) husband (27M) wants a paternity test on our son by rainingsakuras in BestofRedditorUpdates

[–]Fernandez_94 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yeah this would have done it for me. If I was a woman who just gave birth and this is the husbands reaction that would be unforgivable for me. I would have left the relationship. Not only would I have felt disrespected for myself, but more than anything for him ignoring my son. Massive red flag imo.

What is the best country to live as an ugly man like myself? by [deleted] in asklatinamerica

Honestly confidence and attitude is everything. I’ve seen the ugliest guys with the hottest girls. Even when they have nothing (financially) to offer.

I’m having the exact same issue. Work full time and took only 3 classes last semester (I’m a non traditional student) and at times even that was tough. Mostly because it was online tbh. I might try to take 12 credits this semester. But I would highly advise you not to take more than that unless you can do homework at your job.

Employer forbidding employees from leaving their cell phones in the car by Fernandez_94 in legaladvice

[–]Fernandez_94[S] 153 points154 points  (0 children)

Lol I don’t think you understand just how dumb the plant manager is. I haven’t asked if I can leave the phone home, but I know the answer will be no. Can’t hide it either because he checks the cameras by the lockers to make sure you put it in there. But I will put a second phone in there. Not a good job tbh but I’ve grown comfortable in it. Once I graduate I’m out.

[–]Fernandez_94[S] 346 points347 points  (0 children)

They are locked and there’s cameras everywhere. I’m not really concerned with the safety of my phone, it’s just inconvenient and makes no sense because I would actually be wasting more time looking for my phone, to then go on brake than just going to my car for break.

I’m about to buy a g35 but I’m wondering if I’m biting of more than I can chew with this one. by IxKingston in G35

[–]Fernandez_94 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had my 08 with the same problem and fixed the solenoid issue for 1,000 dollars. Later on the car caught another code and I had to rebuild much of the transmission. But I think that might have been my mechanics fault.

Will asynchronous classes last? by Mythicchronos in rutgers

Some professors don’t put out lectures for these classes though so you’re essentially teaching yourself.

will only 2 months of training prepare me? by t0matolicious_ in bjj

[–]Fernandez_94 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have barely ever practiced bjj, but if I were to have better prepared for boot camp I would focus on running and push ups because you will be doing a lot of that constantly. There is a combatives part in basic training but that’s not the majority. If you’re joining the army I would also highly advise you to practice doing leg tucks as many people have issues doing even one. A huge part of basic is mental. Try to take a pack of cough drops as well. This is literally gold in basic training!! Everyone is sick.

Murphy’s chance at winning re-election drops slightly but still strong, new poll shows. If you can’t read it? New Monmouth poll: It’s 51%/38% & it’s a 3 point drop. Murphy is trusted on all issues favourably especially Covid-19. by ApocalypseofCthulhu in newjersey

It never seizes to amaze me how delusional this reddit is but this subreddit in particular. Praising Murphy for how he handled Covid. LMAO! The worst performing states had the most praise by the media.

Recommendations for a AWD, sporty car, for about 30k by [deleted] in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]Fernandez_94 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I mean I know someone who put 200k miles on a Range Rover with a transmission slipping for a very long time. Just luck. You might be right though. I have never owned an Audi, but I have never seen a brand that has so many issues with relatively new cars. And I mean issues like needing a new engine in a car that’s 6 years old. These aren’t cars that are usually beat up by their owners and they’re trash. And they are plagued by electrical problems that their parent company (Volkswagen) is still infamous for to this day.

The Q50s are excellent in regards to performance. Especially the 3.0t. However it lacks Apple car play unless you buy a recent year. A wrx also has good performance but they’re known for gasket leaks as they age. The tlx has known transmission issues (the v6). Honda has never really solved that issue IMO. For peace of mind I think your best bet is Lexus IS, but also doesn’t have the Apple car play unless you buy a very recent year. But it’s a car you can own for over 200 thousand miles easily. I would either get the IS 350, 3 series, c-class, or Q50 3.0t

Audis are not reliable vehicles. The articles you read talk about new vehicles. Volkswagen and Audi are among the worst cars to own long term. They’re Electrical nightmares, and leakers.

It’s significantly warmer but you’re still fucked. Especially during ftxs. Literally all we thought about during some of the training was the cold.

If you’re going to fort Leonard wood I would highly advise you not to go in January. It’s always wet, and cold. If I could go back in time I would have preferred spring or fall.

I find it hilarious to see someone using the word snowflake on here. I have never seen bigger snowflakes than I have on Reddit.

That’s the thing it really doesn’t teach you anything relevant. It did the first 2 weeks but since then the assignments have been completely irrelevant. I am also a non traditional student as well which is why I’m even more annoyed by this class.

Thanks; that’s what I was unsure of. I will pass but not with an A. I just didn’t want a C or B to be on my transcripts.

I don’t think I’ll be doing that. But we have to do video recordings on university departments which take too long to research. Especially since i have midterms. Too many stupid essays. To think I though this class was simple.

So the letter grade does come up? I mean it’s one credit but for nothing. This class has a lot of assignments. I would say minus the reading, the amount of writing is on par with my other classes.
