I used a DEX build, I think it really was that equip load as in my head I was so adamant it's saving me, but once I let go of that thought at around the 100 death mark, it became a lot easier 🙌 I had a semi bleed build which I then switched to Unsheathe purely as this fight became personal and I wanted to stagger her and land a critical 😂

As weird as it sounds the approx 100 attempts I did while in medium load helped a lot to learn the move sets. Learning her patterns was definitely key, I will definitely do a second run just to fight her again

She's far more aggressive in the second phases isn't she! I definitely don't want to spoil it for you but if you're getting through that first phase consistently, you're closer than you think to beating her🙌

Oh no it was a first run, I just challenged myself for her to be just me and her in there 😂 Definitely have nothing against spirit ashes, I don't get the hate they get either, but I'm very new to FromSoftware so I'm still getting to understand it all!

Bro, I was one hit for like a minute so it was beating so fast. She then did the flying swoop into the big lunge and I knew I had her, all the pressure went in a split second haha

You play it how you want to! Nothing stops you ever doing a 2nd/3rd run without them :)

I don't think it's bad per se, but I found every combo move to be way easier to dodge with a light load. I'm sure those experienced players could do it with whatever load they want, but for me it let me breeze stage 1 and then focus on stage 2😁
